So I'm 5'8 which is def on the shorter side where I'm from. I've never explicitly had issues with it (or at least I haven't been told so, because it's happened a few times that I've met a chick and we were basically the same height lol). I'm jacked and have a good face so I think I can still get decent matches with 5'8 in my bio to filter out those who are extremely invested in height for some reason. Or would it come across as beta and is it better to just not mention height at all?

Unless you're 6'5 don't mention that shit as it can only disqualify you. Honestly tinder game is hard, look at the numbers, men vastly outnumber women and there is really no skill to it. I would recommend investing in day game and night game, you'll have no returns at the very start but it's a skill you improve over time and eventually you'll do a lot better than shitty tinder and bumble. Whereas those returns will be just as meagre as they've always been, scraps of roastie pussy.
Focus on expanding your social circle, knowing your area, getting to know all the cool places in town and everyone who frequents them, that's time worth investing.

Don't mention height, I'm 5'11 barefoot I don't list it and nobody's ever asked, most girls can't tell height anyway, if you're 5'8, in shoes they won't notice or will think you're 5'10+ especially if you're jacked
my wrestling friend is like 5'6 195lbs and this guy pulls like no other, never seen him get shit for his height once and he doesn't care about it either

Yeah so they did a study where women filter men based on height. Put 7ft and you should be seen by most women. Put 6ft and you'll be seen by a few. Under 6ft you won't be seen by many.

Yeah but my thinking was it will filter out those who care a lot about height so I don't have to waste time on them, I don't mind if it hurts my chances if it means I can narrow down to a more dtf group of women. But after reading the replies I agree it's smarter just to not mention.

That’s not how Tinder works man. Tinder is a winner-takes-all game. Only the guys with the most likes stay at the top of the stack, all others are never seen by women.
You want to increase your likes as much as possible and filter out profiles after you get the likes, not before.
