I try not to look at it like one is better than the other. Sometimes the right answer comes from one and not the other. Communication between humans has to be done in 2 ways. Well you can think of reproduction like spreading a virus, but you have to find vulnerable hosts. They say that older women have a higher risk of having autistic children, but I think it's actually due to older women getting pregnant by autistic men. It probably has to do with autistic men getting better at communicating as they get older and women getting less picky and "settling" as they get older. By the time a woman gets into her 30s the only single men left are the autistic ones who probably have a good job in coding. Silicon Valley is an epicenter of autistic kids.
So there have to be vulnerable hosts for us to reproduce. Nowadays it's the desperate leftover women. Back in my father's time it was the desperate waitresses. Well you're right. I even have a therapist with a master's degree(NT) and he agrees totally. If we all just used direct speech the world would be better but the reality is different so we go with what we've got. If it enables you to make babies then take advantage of it. I think a purely autistic world would be like Vulcan and we would have serious problems reproducing.
