Been on the monk mode grind since the beginning of the year. Trying to get into an electrical apprenticeship, working out, picked up a bunch of hobbies, am enjoying my time. My issue is, I think I've done enough "self improving" to see if I can casually date again. I live in a small suburban town and don't know where to start to meet women. Some are at my mma gym and other things I do, but I don't want to shit where I eat, at all. I don't have social media anymore & OLD is not really my style. By denying these avenues, I have had a hard time meeting women. I'm not old enough for bars and clubs yet, but I doubt I'd meet anyone worthwhile there. Where do I go from here? Might just remain monk mode until I can move and get my own place. Maybe dating would detract from my journey, but I haven't even had a conversation with a woman in what feels like months now. Not a virgin, have had an LTR, don't think I've lost my mind. I don't get how people are even dating in my age group unless they are in College. Everything is segmented and weird. What should I do?

This is pretty normal when you're young. You're not your own man yet; no place of your own, no career. Relatively low SMV no matter what you do. Just scratching the surface of life.
Your main focus should be on building that life. But im not a fan of monk mode in the sense of not gaming girls at the same time. It doesnt need to take a lot of time, usually you just have to get over the mental hurdle of actually approaching girls.
Dont worry so much about results to begin with. Just talk to all kinds of strangers, tease girls and see where things go. It can be in the street, in a store, on the bus, at the beach, wherever.
I cold approach regularly, nearly every day, and routinely get numbers and dates out of it. Once you have momentum it's like a superpower.
