I’m going to assume you’re talking about not caring about the shitty situation you’re in and making the most of it, not trying to ascend to the highest level of nihilism. First off, good of you to admit that and come here. That takes guts. Whatever mental disability you have, at least you have the guts and you have more of a brain than most. Avoiding social media is something everyone should do on here. Until people have their own business with marketing needs, social media is useless and toxic to the brain. Hobbies are awesome, find things you might be able to do even online with other people. Find a community or multiple to fit into, find belonging. I know you want tips on how not to care, but find SOMETHING to care about. Start reading the Bible, read proverbs and Ecclesiastes. Then read Jesus’ teachings from Matthew-John. Find purpose and meaning. Not telling you what to do, but you can also try smoking weed. I have mental issues that hinder me greatly from normal life and responsibly using weed helps mitigate that. Not saying you should but do your research if you’re of age.

Your candidness is awesome, I don’t think you even realize how much it says about you as a person and the self-therapy you’re already providing for yourself by doing so. I would say a few more things in response to what you just told me; possibly try looking into specialized or highly rated therapists if possible. They’re out there, and I like to believe most therapists do give a shit hence their profession. Sorry you’ve been fucked over by multiple though, that sucks big time. I will say this though my dude, I just graduated college (reluctantly, it was my parents dream for me to be the first to finish) and everyone there was so different from each other. It was a public state college, and they had a basketball team with disabled people in wheelchairs and other things like it. I’m not saying go to college, but a public state college might be for you if you really want to go. Most of my classes had one to a few people with mental/physical disabilities and there are rules in place to make sure you can pass tests and homework like others. I actually felt better knowing I wasn’t surrounded by a bunch of entitled and rich white kids playing life with daddy’s money. Again, I don’t know what disability you have to live with but I’m begging you NEVER write yourself off until you’ve exhausted all options, and even then keep searching for a reason. You’ll find something.
