I'm quite sure that the majority of guys saying that a girl is toxic, are pretty much needy and haven't accepted that desire is not negotiable. Girls saying "toxic" are just being pumped & dumped by some Chad. Anyway now i hear the term "toxic" everywhere here on mexico, even on banda songs and lawyers using it on family court documents lol. I remember hearing "toxic" a lot on 2016, because of the dumb sub r/relationshipadvice or whatever. It kind of reminds me of the term conspiranoic which it was supposedly created for the fbi. Do you know more about it? Who started this trend of "toxic people" and "mental health"? And if you have some documents to back it up, i will appreciate it a lot. I know this question is kind of not related to the sub as much, but in order to understand our reality we need to understand history; a dumb label cannot start from nothing.

You're probably thinking in terms of "toxic is different for everyone. What one considers toxic might not be true for others"
It may be true in some cases but there are definitely people you should avoid regardless of your taste. BPD, emotional manipulators etc.
If you want to find out how that term became popular perhaps Google trends can help

What are the top 10 Toxic Masculinity behaviors?
The last one there should give a clue where the term originated.

It's a label word, that sjw/marxist use to shit on people/behavior they don't like (eg toxic masculinity).
It's mainly used by manginas and all of the new age faggots/leftards. Think the retards who use vagina owners or people with vaginas..
Your example is pretty accurate about hoes not getting commitment, then making the other part the bad guy. Just call him toxic lmao.

Toxic is real. Before it became a mainstream term used by the feminists and the main stream dating world I would guess around 2018-ish, it was mostly used by adults referring to actual toxicity. Now its used by everyone to describe fuckboys, even guys brag about it themselves because somehow toxic has become Alpha.
Toxic relationships are real.
