He probably does it out of jealousy and he's projecting his bitch-ness because he couldn't fight you - the only way he can 1up you is with words, and you not having any comeback makes for an easy target in the world where you can't be the one to strike first.

Next time he tries to call you a bitch or emasculates you in some way, you should ask him if he wants to wrestle or slap-box - when he declines (which he obviously will), you can say: "What, you don't want to wrestle/slap-box someone shorter than you? I knew it - All bark and no bite. Just like an annoying little mutt" or something to that effect. It's not threatening with violence as you're just asking if he wants to have a tussle, and he'll see how it feels to be called a bitch. This should really get under his skin because he actually is a bitch.

Look him dead in the eye and tell him in an extremely firm manner "Mind your language when you speak to me" like you're gonna kick his ass. If my housemate called me a "bitch" I would set boundaries immediately, no room for bullshit. It doesn't matter if you have more money, kick ass for a living, or are Giga-Chad incarnate, if you can't set boundaries some people will run you over.

have had a very similar roommate before; this kid would come to literally scream at me like a little bitch. honestly there’s two ways you can go about it. you can keep doing what you’re doing. ignore, maybe deflect a bit. if you wanna be more passive agressive just don’t even acknowledge his existence anymore. act as if he isn’t even in your apt and you heard nothing. silent treatment type shit. or you can call him out and highlight his own bitchmade features. make it abundantly clear you don’t fw him at all and that if he keeps it up you’ll put him in his place. the latter will probably make him back off but it’s also gonna be awksauce in your apt till lease ends.
