Just as a woman’s hypergamy (has to have the best option in her eyes as far as status, money, game, etc) has to be satisfied for her to be committed to one man is analogous to a mans polygynous nature, he has to feel he’s with his best option as far as beauty to be content with one woman.

I agree. I like to call it male hypergamy. For some men, including myself, that means polygamy, for some it means monogamy. I'd rather be with one 8 than an 8 and a 6, but I'll take 2 8s.

Exactly. Male hypergamy is a good term. But like you said two 8s+ that adore and admire you and that’s easy to manage. I think many will take that, not all though. The sex is more work tho Lol
