I went out last night to a country dance bar. It was the most popping place I've ever been to, and there were tons of girls just watching the dance floor waiting for someone to ask them out. Even better, a lot of girls were dancing with men twice their age and looked happy about it.
I was looking my best and feeling confident. I approached like 10 girls over the night and asked to dance, all but one said yes.
However it became apparent pretty quickly that these girls expected me to actually know how to formally dance. I got multiple hard rejections with girls looking disappointed then asking "are you new?"
Meanwhile I see short, fat old guys dancing with sizzling hot ass because they know the dance moves.
Is it worth learning to country dance, and have you had success? And for those who have had success with this, what tips can you share?

Where I used to live they would have free lessons at the country bar before opening up for dancing. I went and learned and then danced with girls. Some women have a cowboy fantasy archetype. If you can pull it off you can get lots of pussy.

How long would you estimate that it would take to go from bad dancer to good enough?

If you like country dancing it's certainly worth it. Two birds with one stone.
I dont like dancing much so i dont rely on that to pick up girls. Hooked up with a smoking hot pro hip hop dancer on saturday. We danced and she didnt care because i gamed her before and after.

This is very sound reasoning.
I actually don't like dancing that much, but I DO enjoy interacting with women. My career and personal life is practically woman-free except for my girl at home, unless I go out of my way to meet them.
