Weird situation...
Two years (December 2019 to be exact) I bang this girl from online dating a few times. I can't remember clearly, but pretty sure we didn't use protection at one point.
Fast forward to yesterday - we match on Hinge (I didn't recognise her) and she proceeds to tell me she has a child, who she's sure is mine.
She said "you can choose to believe me or not, but I got pregnant and kept the baby".
She doesn't care if I have nothing to do with it or its life, and proceeded to unmatch me.
I don't have her number saved, have none of her socials, and pretty sure she has no way of tracking me down (I lived in a rental and she only knew my first name).
I feel fucking weird about this. First of all, I don't even know if she's telling the truth. Second, if she is, she wants me to have nothing to do with the child. I don't really mind cause I don't want kids, but I feel fuckin awful for that child growing up never having a father figure and never knowing who their dad is.
Am I overthinking it? Do I just let it go?

She was particularly crazy as far as girls from dating apps go - She cried when I told her I was sleeping with other girls, and this was the second and last time I saw her. Logic would deduce that she is being a crazy bitch trying to fuck with my head. And she has, to an extent lol...

This girl likely pumped and dumped so many times. Reminds me of the south park episode when they're trying to figure out who is Eric Cartman's father.
Four scenarios:
1) She's lying
2) She's pregnant and it's not yours.
3) She pregnant, it's yours, she wants money, you contest paternity. In this case, she would have to sue you to get a judge to compel you to take a paternity test. I would say if this were the case, you are morally obligated to step up and take responsibility both financially and to be a father. This is the risk you took.
4) She's pregnant, it's yours, she doesn't want your involvement, however you want involvement. You would need to sue her to have a judge order a paternity test to prove your paternity.
Online dating is a dumpster fire.
