I am not dating or going out with this girl, however, we have mutual friends and went out together with two other friends around two-weeks ago. Me and her got pretty drunk at a restaurant and she clearly showed high-interest, going out of her way to hold my hand and trying to get alone with me (I was too focused on seeming sober that escalating there didn't even come to mind). She also exclaimed that she wants to see my apartment (I told them that I was in the process of moving out).
So knowing all this, I was thinking of asking her out to my place to cook some food together. I know she likes cooking, so it would be something up her alley. But for some reason, something about it just doesn't sit right. It comes off as too forward and too little left to the imagination about what my intentions are and it makes me feel like she may not be comfortable yet to come alone to my apartment.
It's probably just me, and what I'm really looking for is a second opinion.

Netflix and chill. No need to cook or do anything extraordinary. She already accepted going private and fucking so you just have to make it happen.

I wouldnt worry so much about what she might want. Do what you feel like. I dont think it's forward at all. Dont be surprised if she doesnt give a shit about the cooking part though and just wants to fuck when you get her home.
If you really want to carry something out, like cooking and not just bang her, then it's important she understands that you're simply choosing to do what you want and DGAF, and that you could fuck her good anytime if you want.
That means escalating and being sexual but making her wait for it, as opposed to not escalating which can get her thinking you're just a beta who is trying to get in her pants by doing things for her.

Sounds like you got this in the bag and the only way to fuck it up is to overcomplicate it. Just invite her over because she already opened that door by saying she wants to see your apartment. Once she's there use the usual shit we talk about in the sidebar.

Get her in your apartment, touch her a bunch, do foreplay for a while and then hit her with the dick, don't overcomplicate things, don't give her any excuse to complicate things either
