Because of long hours at work on top of commute it makes it very difficult for me to travel to the gym. What are your thoughts of working out at home using dumbbells and body weight and such. I am not looking to get big I just want to be lean and fit. I am 6’2 180lb currently. I do have some stomach fat at the moment.

Bro don't you know that you can't truly be alpha unless you work out in the gym?
Seriously though, work out however you can. The goal is to get an aesthetic/physique that gets you laid, don't stress too much about how to get there. You can also kill two birds with one stone and invite a woman out to go with you for a jog in the park - you can use that time to build attraction with her by doing something you already wanted to do anyway.

If you are married or in an LTR, working out at the gym has the added bonus of providing a bit of passive dread.

I am 24 years old and not in an LTR

Yeah I'm totally telling my wife about the women staring at me at the gym today.

You don't have to. Women already know there are hot women at the gym. That's why it's passive; You don't have to do or say anything, just go there and work out. Her imagination takes care of the rest.

My wife is a foreigner and very naive. Anyway I told her and then she let me fuck her on her period. What a bloody mess. Never doing that again.

That's what I do. I hate gyms, sweaty benches and waiting for machines.
You should get a bench and barbell for bench press, deadlifts and rows. A kettlebell would complete it
Checkout Ross Emmanait. He has tons of videos on home gyms and equipment. He's the trainer or boxing champ Katie Taylor

I'd totally work from home if I had the €€, equipment and space for that.

Go with resistance bands. $60 gets you the most advanced muscle building equipment available and they fit in a bag you can travel with.

I work out from home. I would work out in a gym tho, but circumstances led me to working out in my other home because I have to go there everyday feed my dog etc. and tbh I really like it now, blasting loud music, grunting and screaming when pushing hard as much as I like. I have barbell, dumbbells, some flaky resistance bands /those that are like cables/, weights, tubes with water tied with rope on the top to use as weights when I'm squatting and improvised squat rack. Next on my list is some more weights and a bench, just so I can do incline. If someone knows how to do incline without a bench, sharing would be great. I'm getting pretty good results and don't forget to dial in your diet. I didn't do it just cut out junk food etc and I still lose fat and gain muscle mass, even tho I'm 8 months in. Ah yeah and I jump rope for cardio and that's it. The only reason I would go to the gym is to deadlifts because my weights are small in diameter. Started out pretty chubby now I have a bit of fat on the stomach and I guess I'm starting to count calories. So yeah home gym can get you pretty far if you make yourself stable workout routine for the equipment you have. Of course it takes a bit trying out this and that to figure it out. Throw in a pull up bar and you'll be doing great.

When I didnt have my bench I'd work the upper chest by doing slow pushups with feet on a chair or the bed. Add resistance bands or weights (in a vest or backpack) if you feel it's too light though slow and controlled reps should be enough
