Brothers,
I hurt my shoulder, so I’m trying to rest it before going back to my lifting routine. I still need to find ways to stay active / maintain muscle. Any ideas for workouts that are intense but easy on the shoulders?
Thanks.

As my trainers told me when I was injured or strained shoulders that best way is to leave shoulders alone and let them recover rapidly, focusing on other body parts (legs, abs, back). When you are training, other body parts are upgrading as well. Popeye is a myth.

Where in the shoulder? Is it the top of the shoulder or the front rotator cuff?
I hurt my shoulder and I haven't healed since 6 months. Dead serious. Here are my tips to relieve pain:
Look up rotator cuff pain exercises on YouTube.
If it's the TOP of the shoulder, I take dumbells and shrug my shoulders.
Also, what caused the shoulder pain?

It’s more so in the middle - maybe I slept on it weird since I don’t remember injuring myself. I started feeling the pain 3 days ago, and it’s starting to ease up. Gunna give it another week and see what happens. Until then, legs, abs it is.

I teared my right rotator cuff once and I was out for as few months. The best advice I can give is to let your shoulder recover for however long it needs and keep up with your protein intake to save your muscle mass and ensure you're eating at maintenance calories so you don't lose bodyweight. Also, you can train your legs but becareful with barbell squats because they might irritate your injured shoulder under a heavyload.
