Usually i withdraw attention to punish plates bad behavior when hanging out, but dont show that im butthurt, i just become sort of neutral/cold. Compared to engaged and giving attention.
But ive realized that maybe this can be perceived as moody or somber? how do you guys draw the fine line., because its an easy line to cross.
I hate acting 100% normal when being disrespected, because it can be perceived as having no spine and not punishing her back. Sometimes i watch betas get disrespected and they act 100% normal after, mainly because they are oblivious to the disrespect or they are used to being disrespected, if this makes sense so they have no reaction.

Yes, if done suddenly. Think of how people boil the frog: they cook it slow, little by little do they add to the temperature.
Same thing with women, you just start being busier and busier. Add an extra 5-10 minutes per reply. Show up later than promised. No matter how you decide to manifest this change, the theme is the same: you withdraw it little by little over time. It will guarantee drive them crazy and of course you just deny any changes and stick with your "I'm just very busy" line until you've either completely broken contact or you get the desired change in behavior, whichever you prefer.

Ive thought about this too. My perspective is that it depends on how you talk to them. If you talk normally but just pull back then it doesn't seem butthurt because you might just be busy. I wouldn't send one word replies or something similar, that would seem butthurt

If it's in person I'd just shit test her back. "You're pretty funny. If you looked a bit more pretty it'd be better" followed by a smirk. Then I cut the date short and next if it's too much. That's what I would do, dunno if it's the best approach. Never met a girl that disrespectful

Depends on the frame you established with her.
If u were a faggot with her, she will perceive your withdrawal of attention as fake, butthurt and attention seeking.
If u were a man with her, and u withdraw ur attention, she will think: "shit shit what happened?? Where is him?? Whats is he doing?? Did i do something wrong for him to leave?? Am i not hot enough for him?? Why am i not hot enough for him??..."
