I (18M) want to be financially free. What are the steps that I need to take to get there. Currently I am learning web development (HTML, CSS,Javascript) and investing 3/4 of my money to index funds and crypto. I am still in the process of learning these things, but if someone who is already financially free or well off could tell me how they got there, that would be awesome. Is the only way become financially free by being an entrepreneur? I'm also going to college next year and I'm trying to get into a computing college so I can get a well paying job in the field of programming/ web developement, so that I can start my own bussines in that field one day.
Thanks

Make money.
Get good at shit. There is no easy way, but a solid career is a good start. Web dev isn't bad. Investing might or might not work.
It's one way. There are others.
Good, that's roughly what I did.

Bro, you need to learn about crypto and get started investing. Learn which ones are legit and have use cases because there are a lot of shit coins out there. If in doubt, start off with Bitcoin (BTC) and Etherium (ETH). You need to get on that like yesterday.
Oh, and NO DEBT! If you can’t afford to pay cash then you can’t afford to have it.
Take care man.

Ditch the crypto. Run wheel strategy on S&P 500. Use margin. I make $1800-$3000/mo on $50k with margin of $150k. Then move to Thailand and we'll hang out and live like kings.

Fuck crypto. That is gambling. Invest in things that pay you to own them: stocks with real dividends and real estate. Real estate is your safest move.
Source: I haven't worked in years and did it through real estate and stocks.

You need to start reading about different types of investing. Don't waste any of your money on stupid shit. When you have a little saved, you'll know what to do with it.

No, because my path was different than what yours will be. Plus, we aren't here to spoon feed anyone. We're here to give each other the tools to help ourselves.

Yo bro,
Before I got financially wracked, I was on path of financial freedom - got financial advisor and she told me first steps:
One of my friends is a web developer, can work whenever he wants(constant requests), wherever he wants (travelling a lot) - its great! Financial freedom for everyone is different - one desires to not work at all, other - that they can have fuck off money to not to tense butt cheeks when unpleasant job requests occur. Business is great, working in high paying jobs are great as well - do what you enjoy an let it kill you ))) haha

The market is down, so investing in stocks is something to think about.
