Recently graduated university, got a good job, starting to work on my body now. I realized a lot of my close friends are acting distant with me now. One out of jelousy, another because I can’t hook him up with a job ( he’s too lazy to actually take the time to apply and put in the work). I don’t mean to talk bad about my friends, but I am noticing I am becoming more and more alone the more successful I become. Even my parents, want me to buy them a dream house right away, and when I said I can’t afford it right now they became distant. What is the correct mentality to Handel this?

One old saying goes like this - Everything happens as it should happen.
Another one - Every action or inaction has consequences.
Another one - You will find only what you bring in.

Love the advice, thank you for also saying the last part what I could do wrong too, you are absolutely right about that, if I acted like that it would 100% be on me.

Woah, that's crazy. Distance from them sounds healthy.
You're growing, they are not.
Move on up, meet better people.

One's success acts as mirror to other people's failures and unfulfilled dreams.
It's human nature, it may just be time to upgrade the people you associate with (not referring to your family, you can't choose who you're born into)
Sadly, for the most part, this is human nature, not much you can do other than act humble and not let the success go to your head around them. If being chill and humble is not enough for them, then it's a them problem, not a you problem
Not implying that you're arrogant about success or anything, but if being normal around them isn't enough it's not you

Thanks for the advice, really like how u said the first step is to be humble ur self, I think that’s very important in this journey to self improvement that we all are on.
