so like a while back i noticed my hairline on the left side is fucked. like i’m damn near starting to bald.
in the time frame where like it happened i was extremely stressed and i was also starting to take like ashgawanta and maca powder. been like a month+ now. how do i fix it

Ashwaganda - great.
If it is genetics, embrace it, go full bald and own yourself. If it stress, go hard on omega, greens and plenty of vitamins.
My hair got thinner, but focusing on diet helped a bit. Also taking ashwa, does miracles in long term :)

You could shave your whole head and embrace it. That’s what I do and “my” girl loves it, and more importantly, I do.

You need the big 3: Finasteride, ketoconazole shampoo, and minoxidil. Some people swear by microneedling as well.

There are a few things you can use beyond finasteride. The first is ketoconazole 2%. It is only 1% OTC from USA, but you can order 2% off ebay. Antifungals help protect the hair follicles. You can also use monistat for yeast infections dissolved in water and applied as a spray
Minoxidil also works but for different reasons, it increases nutrient supply to the scalp instead of protecting follicles from damage.
Herbal supplements are all over the map for their potential effects, which can include hair loss.
Lastly, RU58841 is a research chemical that is an androgen receptor antagonist. It is annoying to mix and store, which is why it hasn't been mass marketed. It is sort of like a topical version of finasteride for your scalp. That inhibits DHTs affects on follicles. The benefit over finasteride is if it gives you side effects.
So if you want to see how much hair you are capable of regrowing, use all three.

herbal supplements cause hair loss??
also do any of these impact like my testosterone/fertility/like ability to get hard

Yes. Anything that messes with hormones needs to be cycled or it will reduce ability to naturally produce that hormone. Anything that blocks DHT can have anti-andro effects (including finasteride). Saw Palmetto may help a swollen prostate but it can also cause loss of sex drive and testicular pain. Many supplements have estrogenic effects as well. Anything pro-estrogen or pro-aromatization will make you bloated, give you soft erections, and make you come too fast. Serotonin affects sex as well. 5-HTP for example, lowers sex drive and hardness, but gives you the ability to last longer in bed, so there are tradeoffs, if you take too much you can't come at all. Estrogen blockers can have some similar effects, if you completely crash your estrogen you might be horny as fuck, but no matter how aggressively you rail her you won't be able to come.
Most supplements are only good for short term use before the effects stop or the sides become unmanageable.

Look into Keeps bro. I have all my hair still, but I have read good things about the company and results that people have had.
The earlier you start, the better results you can expect
