So, I've been pondering going out to bars and clubs. I'm pretty inexperienced at night game. I have done daygame approaches and OLD with success. Is it worth exploring? I live in a college town and I might go out alone if I don't have friends to go out with.

I have way more success with girls when I go out solo. Like you, I don't know anyone in my college town. Last week I went out solo, and let me tell you, it was easy as fuck to get girls. You can do whatever you want. I literally went to a bar with guys I met on the street, pulled a girl, then moved onto the next bar and did the same. When they ask you why you're alone, just tell them that you lost your friends.
When I go out with friends, it feels like I'm 'stuck' to them. I don't know how to explain it. When I want to switch bars, they don't want to. When I game girls, they get mad for 'ditching' them. Most of my friends don't know how to have fun by themselves, so I prefer to go out solo nowadays.
Bonus is that when you do night game, you get way hotter girls compared to OLD. When I did OLD, I was shocked by the amount of ugly/stuck up girls, at least in real life you stand out, because most guys are too afraid to approach a girl.

yes, old can work, in my age group(geezer) it's hard to find a girl in decent shape, and I'm looking from 40 up to 55. Lots of feminists (pass), lots of damaged girls (pass), hate drama. But the profiles help you with all that and it's just a matter of finding a decent looking girl , then weeding out the profile and whether she's worth trying to meet.
Going out solo is ok to. I'd strike up conversations with couples. The girl would always try to set me up with a girl friend, it's amazing.
Just have fun meeting people and DNGAF. I have the best time when i'm in that mode.

Nah, I'm kind of done with that, looking for low maintenance, low drama and a submissive slut to take care of me. I have one, we'll see how long it lasts.
I still get girls in their 30's hitting on me and it's kind of fun. Tempting, for a ONS but that's about it, they are usually train wrecks.

I think you have to project to the cougars that you don't have money and are only good for 8hrs sex/night. God damn they made me so sore trying to milk as much sex as possible from me before throwing me away to chase a guy with money, haha.

I've kinda taken to old prostitutes. By old I mean 30-40. It's like cougars but there's no work involved. Not that cougars are a lot of work but an old whore will just climb on top and get busy while you relax, drink a beer, and watch the game.
