Been dating my now girlfriend (19) for 1 year now. She’s an extremely good girl, very submissive, feminine and so fourth.

I’ve known about her one and only guy friend she knew of from back in school. They actually went to prom together (if that matters), although they haven’t got any sexual history together. In fact, I was the first guy she’s ever been with.

Anyway, this guy sounds like your typical beta orbiter. I’ve been around when he’s rang my girlfriend, he said “oh is that {my name}” and then the convo quickly wrapped up. He’s actually got a girlfriend himself (cheated on her a couple of times apparently), although he continues to orbit my girlfriend. My girlfriend has expressed she has zero interest in him, and even said she’d cut him off for me if I wanted. I said that isn’t necessary and I continue to observe from a distance.

Here’s the thing though, the other week I was supposed to be flying to another country, however my flight got cancelled, so I came back to my gfs apartment for one more night. He must’ve thought I would’ve been out of town by then (she must’ve mentioned I was leaving that day), and he rang her at MIDNIGHT when we were just about to go to bed. I laughed and said “aw, is that your friend?”, in which she embarrassingly replied “yes.” She did not take the call. I said no more and went to bed. Nothing was mentioned the following day about him calling at midnight, and I took my re-scheduled flight. This has got me now thinking though, what the fuck is this guys deal? Why the fuck is he ringing my gf at midnight, thinking I was out of town? She must’ve communicated with him that I was leaving on XYZ day, so he thought, “I’ll ring her then when he’s gone.” I think it’s really disrespectful and sus behaviour that he’s orbiting, phoning my gf and shit when he’s already in a relationship. I’m seriously considering telling my gf to explicitly cut this guy off because I feel disrespected by his behaviour. Then again, she must be part of the problem and maybe I’m missing something… Thoughts? Is it time to lay the boundary that this guy needs to back the fuck off? He lives in a separate country now, although she even told me last Christmas he wanted to come visit her, lol. Obviously she said no, but he’s got a nerve to ask to come visit her knowing she’s with me.
