Why r we told to hard next girls that U 'simp' for in the past like ex LTRs etc? Wouldn't it be better to start acting entitled and change towards them? I feel that it might teach yourself how to start acting if you can push yourself to begin this way.

The advice is for your own protection.
Almost all of the time, when a guy goes back to a relationship that did not work out, especially if that was because he was taking the wrong approach or she is simply unsuitable for all that such a relationship entails, the guy ends up making the same mistakes all over again.
It is extremely difficult not to fall back into old patterns. Starting from scratch with another woman who does not have the same flaws is a more daunting prospect for some, but much more likely to bring happiness.

Just the fact that you're wasting time on her shows scarcity which means it's a beta move and she will lose respect.
Secondly, she's probably reaching out to get the frame, once you respond positively you are in her frame and she can start toying with you and pushing all your buttons.
I have plated exs successfully but learned it's not worth it, in the best case scenario she becomes your plate, as there's no reason to LTR again. Worst case scenario she fucks with your head and you lose frame and confidence for a whore who you were tired of fucking anyway.
Sometimes it's best to learn by making the mistake, just make sure you learn and don't repeat it over and over. Otherwise you will be back to the average frustrated chump you used to be.
