I genuinely don’t know what works and what doesn’t. I’ve had mixed success with how I text which is usually turn it playful or flirty depends on the situation but when girls write some blunt shit like this, I don’t want to ruin an easy lay.

Everyone has mixed success. Women are not all gonna respond to some magic words. Many are attention seekers, some want to be fucked, some view you as their #1 option, others view you as a reserve option at best, and none of them are honest about their intentions.
Push pull: sometimes you say things to pull them ... basically "Come here, I want you"..... push is pushing them away playfully.... "Ah.... I'm not sure about you.... you probably like to dress in a furry costume and make bunny noises during sex".
And lastly: NEVER view this as "don't wanna fuck this up". She's flirty and now you are "I don't wanna fuck up this easy lay". It's always a risk, and you should never care. You really shouldn't be thrown into scarcity by her flirting, which is what has happened to you. "I don't want to ruin an easy lay" is basically "I value this easy lay very highly because it's so easy and I must make it work because it's easy". See how little sense that makes?
