Im skinny fat, maybe just fat. 185 6’1 20% bf small arms, semi man boobs and im deciding to cut to 10% before i bulk for 6months. What workout plans do you recommend to me while cutting? I was thinking something strength based. Also, I have low t confirmed by blood test but my sex drive is fine for the most part and i dont wanna fuck around with it as im still young. How does low t affect my workout plan? Would a once a week split benefit me more than something like starting strength? What are the best workout plans.
So far go every other day. I Split push pull and do legs everyday i go.

it's easier to lose fat after you build muscle, but if you wanna cut first go ahead
i'd recommend maintenance hypertrophy while you're cutting (8-12 reps, don't try to increase your max lift weights)
make sure you're eating enough protein while cutting (0.8-1 g / lb bodyweight / day)

Great article. Im suprised it wasnt mostly bullshit like most. I know most of these things already but I think everyone should follow that article

Build strength for 6 months first. Do SS or Strong lifts. Your testosterone prolly can be fixed naturally. Sleep at least 8 hours. Consume enough healthy fats. Make sure your micronutrients are taken care of (mainly zinc and vitamin d) Anabolic Men also has a lot of great resources

Ive spent too much time on anabolic men to say the least. Good website. I think the best is peaktestosterone tho

If you have low t, I'd recommend getting on TRT or asking the advice of an endocrinologist. As far as working out goes, it's all up to you. There's a buffet of resources and training programs out there. Whatever works for you might not work for others and vice versa. Do your research then see what works and what doesn't.

Ive spent countless hours going to speacialists, and researching and reading books about every single part about trt. The obvious is that trt shuts down your testes naturally testosterone permanently if you dont know what youre doing or if youre unlucky. It also fucks w sex drive. My sex drive is fine and i dont want to make matters worse. Also a high chance that it shuts down sperm production. Some people take hcg along w trt to prevent this but hcg side effects long term are unknown. I will consider trt after im 30 but for now its a no go.

I dont see point in going TRT route if OP is young guy, of course he wont "BIG" gains but he can still make VERY solid gains with proper routine and nutrition.

Testosterone isn't just something used just to get "big gains".

Ofcourse is not, but recommending TRT to someome whos young is no no.

I appreciate the advice but I have my decision. My question is if I should work out differently/ more recovery time since im slighlty low t. Yes im low T, and have been offered testosterone.

Always bulk first cut later. Workout one muscle group a day for hypertrophy. Aim for 20 to 30 sets of 10 reps.
Oh and eat like a beast. Aim for 3000+ calories with above workout.
Your welcome, come back in 3 months and post results.

I appreciate yall trying to help me boost my t naturally I really do. I dont wanna sound overconfident or anything but I doubt theres anything you can tell me that I dont already know. Ive spent over 100 hours (i was obsessive) researching and reading books by the top doctors and testosterone theorists (is that even a word), meeting with specialists and literally decoding my own blood work to decide which doctors actually knew what they were doing. Vit D boosts t if youre deficient so I take vit d. Poor thyroid function lowers t, im fixing that also. I get 9 hours of sleep each night. I drink a lot of water and try to eat clean. I lift 4 times a week. I meditate to relieve stress and I accept it all. Theres only so much you can actually do.

My total t is a little less than 400 but my sex hormone binding globulin is very low which raises my free t so i guess im not actually low t. My free T is around 12

PPL brosplits are for once you reach your goals and need to maintain imo. If I were you, I'd bulk up and then lean down (I'm leaning down currently). r/fitness has plenty of plans for this type of stuff. As for the T, like others have said, get therapy, and get it checked again once you're in good shape (both built and lean), supplementing any deficiencies, and overall healthy. On a side note, don't forget to stretch and do regular cardio, because those are good for you too.
