It is likely the neighbours saw lots of people going into the house and the last draw was your knock. Not your fault they were looking for an excuse to call their parents. Next time hopefully it’ll be a longer party:) make sure you get the right door.
And coolness is overrated- I used to be cool but don’t care anymore, I just want good people in my life regardless of how clumsy or ginger you are :)

This whole scenario is something you'll laugh about a couple of years from now.
On a positive note, it's just people from high school. There's a whole fucking world full of parties. Nothing to be upset about. I'd be laughing my ass off and would have told the guy, "Yeah, that was us. Our mistake." If the party gets shut down, oh well, find a new one. If your high school buddies hate you, oh well, find new buddies.

Settle your ass down, either go to a pub and knock back a few with your mate. Continue your night and enjoy your self as if it didn’t happen.

I don't think there is a better story to describe the over investment teens have in the opinions of those in their social circles.
Op, it don't matter man. I remember being the that in hs, so no worries. Just know there'll come a point where this type of stuff makes you laugh cause it really doesn't matter.
