I think you're vastly overestimating the ability of the average man to run game over Snapchat.
To be honest sending a dog photo is about as good as it gets.
Apparently they vibed well when they spoke. That should be good enough and for now it's as good as OP is going to get. He ought to strike while the iron is hot and arrange a date now.

If by going nuclear it means asking or saying something that either results in you banging or her never speaking to you again, honestly up to you. I’ve done it and it’s gone both ways. If you don’t really want to invest much time or effort, go for it. If you think you may wanna start up a consistent thing then maybe find a middle ground that’s not so abrupt? Do what you think will work after weighing what you want.
