Hey,
Since I didn’t do well enough in university to get into google/Facebook or Wall Street, and I don’t have the money/experience/“idea” to start a business yet, my only path to riches now is through sales.
How do I get into the industry without getting into one of those “job scams”?

I work at a phone center raising funds. It’s not the end goal but a good starting point.

What’s your end goal?

I’m majoring in EE right now so the goal is sales engineering or my own business.

Sales jobs are easy to get, but your best training in sales will be door to door. Call centres are a good starting point if you don’t feel ready for d2d.

Its easy as fuck to get sales jobs. Call centers and D2D. I am sure 70% quit after 3 months so they constantly need more people. No experience required. Salary is better then most jobs if you do well. I could earn 15-20k USD each month as a imsurance agent. Its also great for keeping comunicatipn skills up as they need to be perfect to sell.
And sales and women is pretty much the same thing. Also its a place rto find lots of alphas. In the office I worked all we talked about was the girls we fucked the day before and the new tinder date we where going to the same day.
Lots of drug use tho, when I got back to the office one monday after a office party the whole confrence tabke was white because of cocaine. So stay away from that shit if the people there use it.
Another tip is to find a well known company that offers a good commision.

That's not your only path first off. There are a lot of other lucrative paths. Learn to code, Start a marketing company. Don't shoehorn yourself into one thing.

Second look for a high growth industry. Pharm and Software Sales pay really well. Often the best sales jobs are technical salesman. People that have really specific knowledge on something. My dad for example owns a business selling industrial machinery. One of my side businesses is consulting for software companies which I guess is "sale of knowledge". Find knowledge on something, sell it.

I started in retail, found the best performers and learned from watching and having good examples to follow. For me sales is half people skills, half bullshit throwing ability. Find good mentors and learn from a variety of sources. Develop your own persona.
