Recently, I made a post on here about "interesting hobbies" due to me being addicted to video games and wanting to get into a new hobby to replace the void. I personally don't see online Poker as a video game.

2 years ago, I used to play poker online, and only 10% of people "make" it and actually go into the positive, and after some time I did manage just that with my strategic gaming background. Best part? I am not addicted to gambling in any way, I even find it repulsing (slot machines etc that require no skill), and I've proved that even Poker for me when winning wasn't addicting, which is great. The only reason why I quit was because I had other things at the time, and perhaps I even got a little bit bored, but that was before TheRedPill and I was in a completely different mind state as well.

The way I see it, it could be a great thing to replace them for now, at the very least - It's fun, it's relaxing, it's strategic and a challenge, and it's even social since you can also play in real life with friends or if you're serious - in casinos etc. Not only that, but if you get good, you can even make some decent money, and this type of a strategy is clearly something that I have passion for.

Am I right in thinking about making this a hobby or am I just hamstering in some way?
