So, we can determine that plates exist to serve as options. You choose these plates from a place of power, you have options.

If you're buying sex, I can assume two things. Either you're not seeing anyone else, or she's so good in bed you're dangerously close to falling in love. Either way, that means she can't be a plate by its very definition.

Hey bro, reporting back. She came to my place and we had the best sex i ever got.

Cons: (maybe) an increased risk of STDs, sometimes some kind of annoying or even dangerous addiction (cigarettes, alcohol, or maybe heavier drugs), the remote possibility of someone finding out about her and shaming you for being "dating a hoe" or anything.

Pros: She'll probably take more care of her body, skin and general health than your average civilian slut, she won't be sexually restrained to you (aka have any fetishes? Ask her, she'll most likely do it, something that not all normal girls do), and most importantly, really good sex
