In my opinion, if you think putting some coloured powder in your face or cutting part of your nose is going to make you any less of a man, you have serious problems with your own masculinity.

I know a lot of other comments are looking down on this kind of stuff so I wanted to give you another perspective...
The way I think of it, what TRP ultimately tries to do is maximize the experience of living as a man. A lot of people take it to mean getting laid nightly, or getting massive gains at the gym, etc. And I agree that these things definitely boost your happiness.
However sometimes redditors on this sub tend to err on the side of masochistic ideals that I don’t really agree with. In my mind, life is short as fuck, and the golden years of life are even shorter. For many men there are physical aspects of your face or skin that affect your mentality on a daily basis (I’ve been there, for me it was/is balding and acne). In my opinion, life is way too fucking short to care about how getting surgery or makeup “degrades” you as a man.
In high school I would always fucking hate myself for having acne, it would constantly bring me down in class, at events, in the mirror... Eventually it just became obvious to me: high school is short, college is short, everything is so fucking temporary, I’m never going to spend a minute of my life ever again giving a shit about what people think of this or that. I’d rather wear that makeup, get that hair transplant, have the surgery done, whatever.
A lot of people will see this a “pussying out” or some retarded rhetoric of that nature. Those people are idiots that probably have zero confidence. Let me tell you a secret, nobody gives a shit about you, the rest of the world is only concerned with itself. Nothing you do will be seen as “unmanly” or anything like that because quite frankly nobody gives a damn. If I were to have nose surgery and someone asked me about it I would just be like yeah I had my nose done because I wanted to, point blank. Stop giving a fuck what people think.

My condolences, balding is brutal as fuck. Currently in good university and my grades are high in engineering so hopefully I can get a transplant by a high end surgeon as well by the time my hair goes to shit. Right now I’m using Minox + Niz, but I don’t want to have to maintain a shitty Norwood 3-4 or some shit of that nature when I can get a transplant and have a permanent Norwood 1 lol.

Make up is one thing, getting an ugly nose fixed is different

Part of masculinity is owning yourself and your own features. There is a line when “self improvement” crosses into craziness.

Calm down dude you're scaring me with all that alphaness

Make up isn't masculine though? Part of fashion is skin care, do that properly and you shouldn't need it

You're so insecure about yourself that you have to cover up and re-engineer your natural face but WE have serious problems? LMAO

The same reason synthol is frowned upon by girls.
