Hello fellow TRPers.
I have a quick and simple question for you: I'm searching for a book regarding the evolution of our sexual behavior. I recall that the author was a guy and he was curious if we were truly monogamous or polygamous, so he started studying current relationships and as much as he could about relationships, sex and mono/polygamy throughout history. He also mentioned that men wanna cheat opportunistically and women wanna cheat only during ovulation.
Could someone please provide a name?
Quick edit: I actually remember reading the above description on Wikipedia. (if that helps a bit)

BTW, have a look at Lucy's Legacy too. Especially if you're tired of pseudo-science bits written by self-claimed experts here and there.

Looks like an interesting and objective book. I'll give it a go at one point. Thank you very much!

Sex at Dawn, Chris Ryan. Listen to him on Joe Rogan's podcast too.

Sex at Dawn is one of the least scientific/evidence-based books on the topic (and that's saying a lot). You know, if that kind of thing matters to you.
Some of the sub arguments are true in their conclusions but he seems to create a lot of fictional narrative. Personally, I prefer to leave hamster-speak and dogma to the BP folks.
