College student here. A lot of time we hear about dressing well - I've noticed that a lot of my white friends who get a fuckton of pussy typically dress in some form of light masculine clothing - like fratty shorts and a tank-top.
But we all know Asian dudes in America are typically associated with "feminine" traits. I've noticed a lot of my Asian friends who get a similar amount of pussy dress in way more... thug-like clothing (they typically got into rap culture).
My theory is that the extra perceived 'femininity' from being Asian requires more masculinity to be offset.
Has anyone else played around with dressing in a hyper-masculine fashion? Is it possible for a white guy to go too far with this? Is there some "sweet-zone" of being just-alpha enough? (Only reason I'm asking is because a long-term prospect recently broke up with me because she was afraid I was a player)
I started playing around with this about a year ago and I saw myself get exponentially more dates and such - got the SS haircut, joggers, hi-top Nike AF1's, snapbacks, tank tops, stringers, etc.
(This post only applies if you have a decent physique, all the guys I'm thinking about when I write this have several years of lifting behind them or are just naturally tank-like)
(This post also doesn't concern personality, just the first impression when you enter a room - as a computer science major, I'm typically the largest there)

I'm Asian, I get the same amount of attention from women while wearing a white T-Shirt, Jeans and Chucks or my fucking hobo like gym clothes or a buttoned down shirt.
Key to dressing good is easy:
Have a good body.
Have matching colors.
And as a personal suggestion, simple never ceases to be elegant.

Fuck this bullshit. If you lift for your body type you can fucking wear anything.

Buff asian dude in generic T-shirt and jeans vs. Buff asian dude in tank top and joggers vs. Buff asian dude in colored shorts and sperrys vs. Buff white guy in generic T-shirt and jeans vs. Buff white guy in tank top and joggers vs. Buff white guy in colored shorts and sperrys.
Thoughts on a girl's first impression of one controlling for everything else. Assume 5'10" (average height for males in America)

When it comes to women more expensive always trumps. It's just how they think. They do know and they do notice.

But isn't money screaming "beta bux"?
Obviously you can't go too poor - but at what point does it become "oh, he's just showing off his wealth because that's the only way he can attract a woman"?

The kind of women who obsess over status symbols can make for good plates- provided it's within your budget and you're being realistic- and tend to be fairly easy to pick up. As long as you stay outside of that spectrum in between them getting to be promiscuous, and them being prudes where they think you think they're a slut, you're (proverbially) golden.
If it's just to get some pussy wear your income, within reason. You don't need to wear some 1000 dollar blue jeans bullshit or clothes with gold fibers woven into them or diamond embroidery, but women sure as fuck are going to home in on, "oh, his mom still dresses him" or, "Wow, he fell out of a goodwill."

Basically, never.
