I think I know the answer but thought it might be worth asking all the same, what is the Red Pill consensus on those infamous Pick up courses.
I've been considering doing the RSD one for a while now, would just be interested in knowing if A) It's worth the extortionate prices and B) If anyone has got any experiences with them?
I think while they are necessary they will probably speed up my game and reduce the learning curve. (Obviously I am aware of the importance of other aspects such as shit tests, looks, lifting ect)

You can find Pimp, Shift, The Blueprint, and Foundations "online" if you want. The free videos on You Tube are also a gold mine.
I would suggest you start with the free stuff and see whether it suits you. There's no need to pay them until you're ready, if ever.
You can also check out the yareally achives for an excellent perspective on all of pick up.
Given all that RSD has distributed for free (and their apparent lack of concern with distributing older stuff), it's quite a stretch to call them a scam. They do a lot of good work and there's no need to rag on them, even if it's not your cup of tea.
tldr: learn all you can from the free stuff, apply it in your own life, gather personal experiences, and see for yourself.

Well, I'm an internet stranger, but I have a solution to your problem... I've solved problems for thousands of people online in my spare time. Now, for a limited time, I'm offering YOU a chance to get in on this opportunity to solve the problems of strangers YOURSELF!
Just send me $29.95, and I will send you my complete, no bullshit, %1000 success kit for solving problems... of strangers... online.... FOR FREE.

I think it's a scam in most cases. I learned from experience and so can you. But if you're looking for a personal trainer for a couple sessions I could understand that, or are just completely hopeless.
edit: Or if not a scam then a complete waste of money.

Yeah that's what I thought the answer would be. Shame in theory it looks like a great way to progress. Guess I'll just have to do it the old fashioned way

Well, think again.
Of course you can learn everything on your own. But self-teaching has an opportunity-cost. If you spend three times more time learning by yourself, than having someone teach you, than you just wasted time that could have been used otherwise productively.
I personally would like to book a trip to James Marshall, because I believe it will cut my learning curve by a substantial amount.
But if money is the issue, than work first on solving the money issue.

Honest question: why do you trust this guy more than you trust RSD?
RSD have hundreds of videos online outlining their theory, experience and skillset. You can search for reviews easily on Google. You can go to their events and talk to previous buyers/current students. This guy has one post you read on /r/AskTRP, and he didn't specify whether it was even an RSD bootcamp he went on. I'm not being facetious - I'm genuinely curious. Why do you trust him more?

There are definitely better things to do with your money. Honestly, there's a lot of good material on youtube (infield, daygame, etc). I feel that PUA is a short term fix (using routines and sets) to get women and TRP is a long term fix (fixing yourself and perception).

RSD does free tours, if you're really curious give it a try.
I will say this, nothing can change your life until start taking responsibility. No program or coaching will make you better, you have to put in the work. If you've been putting in the work and are genuinely stuck then it may be worth it to see someone who can give you more personal advice. But if you aren't putting in the work it's pointless.

Roosh is an Internet marketer. ROK is a textbook example of modern Internet marketing.
There is zero evidence he actually has the skill set he claims to, and a reasonable amount of evidence he doesn't. I wouldn't take advice from anyone unless they are walking the walk.

I can think of many things I'd rather do with that money. There isn't anything that they will tell you that hasn't already been said. What they will do is use peer pressure to get you motivated. Get some friends who aren't afraid to talk about gaming women and go out for yourself
