I'm not big on the 1-10 ratings but am curious what people on here consider a 5, an 8, a 9, etc. I remember a few threads where some guys referred to Marissa Mayer as a goddess and I don't really think she's even pretty. If you go over to r/rateme the scale is so fucking absurdly inflated it's ridiculous - if you're not a fat chick you're automatically a 6 to those people.
I've always been way more conservative - to me the only 10s on the planet are like your Helen Owen/Emily Ratajkowskis of the world - girls with status to bring them up there. I'd say the hottest girl at your gym with 17k Instafollowers is like your 9, and the hottest girls you'd see at a bar/club out at night maybe 8s. On that scale I'm mostly pulling 6s and 7s.
Again - see a lot of people here who think they've never fucked a girl below an 8 so I'm curious what you'd use as an example of your own ratings scale.
Has this (or any) sub ever done the equivalent of this chart except for looks instead of body fat percentages? Might be an interesting project.

I never understood the 1-10 rating system. Always seem like bullshit thing to waste time on. Something that was invented by PUAs to inflate the complexity of picking up a chick.
For me all the rating comes down to "Do I want to fuck her?: Yes? No?"

5: fuckable if desperate, but you hope your friends never find out about it because they will make fun of you
6: fuckable and you don't care if people know you hit that
7: typical good looking girl. you might consider publicly dating her assuming she has a cool attitude
8: go in a normal club or crowded bar. find the hottest girl in there. she's an 8. you feel proud when other people see you with her
9: girls who are so hot that either their job is based on their beauty (models, celebrities, etc) or they don't need a job because there is always some rich dude willing to pay for everything they need
9.99: victorias secret angels and sports illustrated bikini models
10: perfection. only possible via photoshop. true 10s do not exist in the real world because no woman is truly perfect
+/- 1 point if the girl has a certain feature or characteristic that a guy has a thing for. size of tits or ass, race, body type, hair color, tattoos, etc.
ex: if one of your boys starts telling you about some HB8 asian chick he fucked, and you know he has yellow fever, she is probably a 7 at best

I think we tend to have a similar scale. It's always weird to me that litereally every story/FR here starts with someone telling about how they "were with this HB8/9." I highly doubt it but to each their own.

Agreed on the suspicious abundance of HB8/9 in FRs. Wayyyy too many BS stories about guys going to a club and picking up a HB9 because two HB8s were competing for his attention. I rarely even see legit 9s out and about, and when I do it's usually somewhere boring like the grocery store.

I agree. Probably just upping it by one point. Though there are places with those types of chicks around. Scottsdale and Tempe, AZ are littered with 8s everywhere. It's almost unbelievable. But what sucks is that there are also that many good looking guys out there too so you still gotta be on your A game to even have a shot.

I don't recommend using the 1-10 scale, what purpose does it serve? Are you using it and saying this girl is a 9 so I can't talk to her because she will turn me down? It's subjective and just puts women on a pedestal. I wouldn't spend so much time trying to categorize every number between 1-10, girls who are obese, girls with mental deficiencies or deformities I am not going to waste my time labeling as a 1 or 2, because I wouldn't date, have sex with or be attracted to in any way.
One guys 6 might be 2 and so on. My rating scale is 0 or 1, would I sleep with her or not? Differentiating a girl as between a 7 or a 9 makes no difference, if she's a 9 am I going to try extra hard? Do I want to date her long term? I am not deciding those things when I meet a girl, that's dishonest and desperate.

Individually it is so subjective that it doesn't serve a purpose - however collectively I think it could. If there are generally agreed-upon standards I think it will help people writing in this sub be more selective about the language they use and therefore the effect it has on the readers. For example, if there's a story about someone seeing results claiming to have 3 8s in their rotation when in reality they've got three 5s, it will definitely help the reader understand how large a grain of salt to take their advice with.

we are dealing here with a bunch of dudes that have issues (read insecurities) in the first place.
So to expect that a guy will willingly say that he's fucking an objective 4 is naive.
I'm all for objectivity, but I don't think that the looks of a chick should be the focus point of FRs in the first place. FRs are to show that you learned and applied some game concept.
Cause at the end of the day, dudes pick up (try to) chick that they find attractive (at least somewhat), even in the cases of "I'm regretting this in the morning" at that time that dude found that chick attractive enough, because, you know, he got hard.

In the end it's all subjective. There is no 'definite' rating scale. What might be an 8 to you may be a 6 or a 7 to someone else.
For me, I'm REALLY conservative. I don't think 10's exist in the wild (maybe Katy Perry or Kate Beckinsale), I never give out 9's. An Average girl is a 5.

So I won't make any comments on the scales because at their core they are all subjective. What I did notice there is that nobody even mentions any fluctuations based on personality. I see a lot of very vein women out there, so when you find one that isn't, it's got to count for some points imo

0-4: Irrelevant. Talk to them just for fun.
5: Half boner. If she wanted sex, it could go either way.
6: Not ideal by any means, but you would bang her if she was into you.
7: Solidly attractive. This is what you would masturbate to.
8: Like a 7, but with a body or any combination of traits that fits your niche.
9: So hot she actively draws your attention and it's difficult to look away.
10: You can't conceivably think of a single flaw.
My scale is all based on perception. Not how badly your ego wants to be seen with her, not how famous she is as a model, just pure subjective attractiveness.
