I'm currently a coder - I'm decently compensated, but not amazingly.
I would like to become a more powerful player - what's the best play for me? I have a college degree (though in a non-technical subject - psychology).
Should I go to law school? Business school? Try to launch an app or several (already trying) - what are effective ways to parlay my coding experience into greater power? I have no intention of being a worker bee for the rest of my life.
I'm not old, but I am older than the average on this sub. I'm not quite 30 yet.

Without being in your shoes, we can't answer this.
In general, seek positions of increasing responsibility. If you're a go-getter, consider starting your own consulting business.

Yes, volunteer for special project teams, put your hand up for tasks with responsibility no one else wants to do, look to mentor juniors to demonstrate your leadership qualities. These are all things to do in your role to move up. Depending on the opportunities at your current company, you may want to look somewhere else

This is going to sound typical and a bit cheesy but do what makes you happy. You should be enjoying life as much as you can. Don't change jobs just for the money. It won't be worth it. What's the point of changing jobs for more money if your just going to become miserable in the end and realize this isn't what you want to do? Do what you love and become great at it. After that the money will come.

lol, I want money and power and to influence things.
I'll have fun doing anything as long as I'm king.

Sounds like you have a power trip. I hope you're good at hiding this in real life. No one likes when someone is using their power against them just because they can and enjoy doing so.
If you want to climb your way to the top then I recommend hiding this quality. Try to empathize with people, make friends, and build connections in whatever company you work for. Even if it's fake.

Yes, that's more or less what I've established. I've spent the past year becoming better at communication (in fact, that's part of how I found the Redpill - reading up on the differences between male-female communication). Now I'm essentially trying to kill my unwillingness to lie. That's actually been pretty easy, at least to women.
As for a power trip, eh, maybe? I just don't see a purpose to a life where you're not a major player at some point.
If you don't make it into the history books, what's the point? Pointless hedonism? Not my thing.
