Some girls I talk to claim they never want kids ever. Any explanation or views on this? Are they full of shit and just don't know they are? How should I respond when someone says this?

There are exceptions to AWALT. I dated a couple of girls that were serious about not wanting kids. e.g., had their tubes tied when they were under 30. Most, as /u/fnordsnord says, just mean the don't want kids right now. I'd just agree with her and say that there are plenty of people in the world and there are many ways to have positive impacts on the lives of children without having your own -which basically no girl is going to disagree with.
If you want to know for sure, ask her why she hasn't got her tubes tied yet. I think you'll find that most want to keep the possibility open. "Maybe some day...."

How old are you? Most women "never want kids" from about 18 - 24. The number of "never want kids" women starts to drop until around 28, when baby-rabies sets in.
Never believe a woman who claims she never wants kids. At best it means "I don't want kids right now."

I was thinking this exactly. I'm 24 so you're on the ball there.
I also read this as them saying "I haven't found any man alpha enough to have kids with".
