I've been studying for exams recently, and I'm a terrible procrastinator, which I know is holding me back. I can get motivated to workout, study TRP, etc, but I can't seem to bring myself to study for anything that I'm not super interested in, even if it's important for my future. How can I get motivated in academic/non-workout areas of my life?

Because today academia makes no sense. Even in STEM there is a 5-10% of people who are really interested in learning the specific subject and would be interested in it even without college while the rest are there continuing school. College is for most to learn to pass exams and show commitment so employers know you are reliable. It has nothing to do with learning.
You sense the subject doesn't matter, that the effort is kind of pointless and that takes away the motivation. Which makes all the sense of the world.
If you agree with this assessment, then you have two options: drop college and try other path, or accept that what you are learning is kind of pointless and that you need to organize yourself as best as you can through this period, do enough for future employers to be happy and enjoy the rest as much as you can.

Set goals for yourself have a 7 page paper do break it up into smaller pieces and work on that a little at a time, the accomplisment of getting the small piece done should help you get the rest done.

Studying is a process of discipline rather than motivation. It's easy to get up for things you enjoy, you need to develop your ability for discipline.
