Hey gents, I came across this podcast with Stefan Molyneux where this guy fell for this deceitful woman's trap by saying "I can't get pregnant".

So first off this poor schmuck is in his late twenties, high paying job, stable career, and single. He meets the 35 year old woman who can't get pregnant becuase of ovarian cysts. He isn't really in to her besides the sex. He decides it's not going anywhere and decides to just be friends. She invites him over to hang out and she pussy bombs him by dropping her towel at the door. She invites him into her hottub and he fucks her afterward. So a month down the road, she calls him and tells him the 'unthinkable', she's pregnant. Furthermore, she's keeping the "miricle" baby. There were so many warning signs not to get involved with this woman that Stefan goes over with him like how she has no career, 35, just met her and she's willing to take a strangers semen willingly...etc...

So now he's stuck with this woman who's past her prime and stuck paying for a kid he never intended on having. So besides the risk of STI's, the moral of the story is never take a woman's word for it. "I have low fertility", "I can't get pregnant", "I'm on the pill", these are all lines woman use to potentially make you their golden egg. Don't take the chance, wrap it up. full podcast

Alright, I'll indulge you.

Your question was "Why should one be wary of a lady quick to accept a stranger's semen?"

There are possibly several good answers to this question, but in my mind a lady being quick to accept a strangers semen very likely indicates troubling things about her (red flags, if you will):

She has poor impulse control, or poor judgement, or both. In this case you need to question the wisdom of becoming legally responsible for the offspring of someone with poor impulse control or judgement.
She is intending to impregnate herself, very possibly for the explicit purpose of ensnaring said stranger (or, more importantly to her, his child support payments). Unless you like giving your money away, it should be obvious why this is unwise.

I would think that the above points would be obvious. So perhaps you will now indulge me and let me know whether you "get it", and also so can you explain why the above points were non-obvious to you?

They absolutely will charge you with murder, or with attempted murder if she catches you, if you are in one of the 33 states that has a fetal homicide law on the books. If not, you'll get charged with assault or worse for drugging her. She might have played you for a fool and fucked your life over to satisfy her own personal needs, but you don't get to drug her and kill her (and presumably your) baby in response without getting reamed by the law. Take all the precautions you can to avoid an unwanted pregnancy. If one happens, you will be the family court system's bitch, and any "smart" plan you come up with to get out is going to end up fucking you 10x worse.

I mean for all we know she could have been telling the truth but she's 35 and was in a 4 year relationship the year prior. That means sex at least once a month without pregnancy. So the odds are even more unlikely that she is telling the truth.

Red flags are a metaphor for suspicious, potentially destructive behaviour on part of the women which could fuck you up long term. If there are sufficient red flags then the likelihood of eventual drama, cheating and financial problems is inevitable.

There are 2 forms of twins. The identical ones which come from the same egg cell but very early during development (like first couple cell divisions) an error happened and the "embryo" split in two. The look identical because they are genetically 100% identical.

An other possibility is that the women created 2 eggs at the same time and both got fertilized. And here its obviously easily possible the sperm can come from 2 different men.

Well you can test them in secret (steal some hair with roots from both) but that but be weird, almost certainly illegal if possible at all and of course a good example were ignorance is bliss.

I've heard this episode too. She may not have been deceitful; with a condition like hers (assuming that's true), she may have been told this when she was diagnosed and we know more about it now. Also, she may have been told the chances are very slim and she interpreted as 0, when rarely chances are absolutely 0. If he wasn't intended to get her pregnant, he should have used condoms. I have no sympathy for him.

The take home lesson is to be responsible for your end of reducing chances of pregnancy and reducing chances of giving/getting and STI and not to forego condoms until you are in a stable relationship where you trust the other person and you are both invested in the relationship.

EDIT: I would recommend this caller to get a paternity test before acknowledging the child as his.

It is said to be possible to undo the procedure but if you are 100% set on having kids some day you can always freeze your sperm or I believe it can be collected directly from the snipped pipes.

Had vasectomy around 4 months ago - best decision ever (however to be fair, I never want to have kids).

Why? If you save your sperm the women you choose can still get pregnanet...but when you are ready for this, not when she decides. Guys in general don't have power over when the kid is coming, but this way IF she gets pregnant - you know she was cheating without DNA tests, without the stress etc.

Men don't get a vasectomy because they want kids "one day". If it's reversible, they get to choose when that day is. Women will have to offer a fairer deal than at present or men will just continue to wait.

Yea. Totally with you, I was exaggerating. The birth rate would drop under 2.1 which is replacement for the most productive part of society ie men with a career. Even my hardcore catholic friends say: "I have to be able to afford kids" which is - to be honest - never, so they wait until the woman is basically dried up and can give birth to only 1 child before it is too late.

You are correct - but ask yourself WHY do we need more people on earth? Is over 7 billion not enough?

On one hand most people worry about what are we doing with earth etc, but on the other they are set on putting more people on the planet - and why? Just because they believe that their copy will be somehow special, better than others. Drop the ego I don't see much point in having kids unless you have some genetic mutation that makes you invincible or resistant to some illnesses.

well, it does damage women much more than men. In past times when men took responsibility for women they took steps to prevent such damage. But women decided they wanted to be responsible for themselves and not wanting to defer to men. Therefore, it is not immoral for men to let them decide, and men decide their own actions from their own point of view.
