I ran a Twitter poll seeing how many of you could identify a jester DT subtype by asking "Is Milo Y DT?" - 49% of you answered no, which is hilariously if not sadly wrong. On the upside, more of you answered yes than answered no, and few people can probably boast of a readership that's so switched on that 51% of them can accurately detect a white collar DT. Anyhow, I digress. The article is not about Milo Y, but it pretty accurately describes people like him . This is completely fresh and original content in the DT/RP sphere of knowledge, and I can say with unwavering confidence it's something you won't have read about before. So if you're one of the people who complains there's never any new theory and everything's a rehash, you're in for a treat. As usual, I'll include section 1 here and a link to the full article at the bottom. Enjoy!
EXCERPT:
The jester’s humour can take on either an attack or defence posture, with humiliation acting as his weapon, and plausible deniability his shield. And I say ‘he’, for of the few jesters I have encountered, not one has been female. Likewise if I am to put my personal experiences to one side and observe the wider culture, I remain at a loss in the attempt to identify a female jester.
The wit inherent to the mechanisms of the jester are intrinsically masculine in their nature, for the jester employs a type of verbal gladiatorship of which I have little doubt is fuelled in great part by the ordination that the male must prove his fitness to the female as opposed to the inverse. As the dearly departed Christopher Hitchens stated in simpler terms, women aren’t funny because they don’t need to be; and such a truism does not find any particular exception within the expression of one’s Machiavellian interpersonal style either.
Of course a high functioning dark triad woman is wittier than her neurotypical counterpart by effect of her reduced emotional sensitivity, but this does not lend itself to becoming the dominant function which underpins and subsequently characterises her interpersonal style. The feminine Machiavellian archetype is almost always that of the seductress, favouring the weaponisation of sex and all the attendant traits this implies, she presupposes the virginity of enemy men and the promiscuity of enemy women whilst overtly oozing innuendo and sensualism in her bid to entrance allies.
Think of a Machiavellian archetype as a flavour of cunning, all Machiavellians are cunning, but the way in which that cunning is expressed differs vastly in its style and execution. Different archetypes use different stylistic mediums to exert their influence. Be it to charm or humiliate, jesters use humour, seductresses use sexuality whereas fault finders use rules and malicious compliance. Cunning may be universal, but the asset utilised and the way in which it is personified vastly differs. The jester’s power stems from a quick wit and their ability to employ said wit humouristically, for it is their ability to verbally destroy an enemy to a chorus of laughter that makes their otherwise unacceptable aggressiveness permissible.
The jester is a master of reframing perception through humour, and so of all the various styles of cunning found manifest, his persuasion goes unmatched. His ability to sway group opinion is second to none, for hilarity always brings great popularity, and seductiveness cannot target as large an audience as hilarity. Irrespective of environment, be it the royal courts of Europe or a television talk show, the jester’s subtle albeit inextricable control of public perception goes indomitably unchallenged.
When people on the internet say “trolling is a skill”, they unknowingly nod gently to this Machiavellian interpersonal style. To give an example of what a jester looks like, Milo Yiannopoulos epitomically embodies the form of a jester. Stylish, cunning, witty and highly narcissistic, the jester’s ability to theatrically employ wit and word to persuade, entertain and humiliate is incontestable.

shaco the demon jester. good article. people always think of like a thug sociopath when they think dark triad but there really are archetypes when you think about it. it's not like every douchebag you've ever met had the same personality and the same thing about them that made you want to crush them.
do you feel like dark triad is something a man should develop?
maxbrooksmacbook 8y ago
It's hard to fake being dark triad
sorceryofthetesticle 8y ago
If you read enough TRP literature, you will automatically find yourself on the precipice of becoming dark triad. It's not something you develop in yourself, so much as something you learn to embrace.
In response to the "amorality" of sexual strategy, it is a short step to think about all moral prescriptions as existing on a descriptive, amoral continuum. Along with this, you begin to see the transactional nature of all relationships, and how the prescriptions of each participant form the boundaries of the transaction. From here, two things happen. First, you understand that you're really alone (or any "alliances" you have are contingent on the mutable beliefs and somatic desires of others), and your interests are the most important . Second, you open the door for stretegic use of your moral awareness; somehow, when you understand morals/feelings/relationships as neutral objects, it then becomes obvious to use them to your advantage, ie. abusing the trust people have in their moral and conceptual systems.
As far as this being something you should develop? In my opinion it really depends on how far you want to go with it. It takes a lot of ambition, effort, raw intelligence and loneliness to embrace and employ dark triad awareness offensively. Using people and maintaining frame is a skill that takes a lot of grind to develop. If that doesn't sound appealing, then you can use it more as a defensive awareness; you can pick up on manipulation techniques and avoid them as best you can (hint, they are literally EVERYWHERE and come from EVERYONE).
stoicismexpress 8y ago
See the detail and description of amorality, effort and loneliness here is a great example to me of why those type of personal traits are exactly what you shouldn't be developing. Once you see all social interactions as transactions your committing relationship suicide with your friends and family, who might actually care about you very much.
I feel like it's a product of the anger stage of TRP, when the world is a depressing, grey mess and humanity is selfish and cruel at heart. When you realise these things simply aren't true, and that just because women value attractiveness over kindness doesn't mean your friends aren't your friends, you find that being a moral, decent person is actually far more rewarding and healthy in the long run.
kagetsuki23 8y ago
which is why batman nemesis is the joker.
aanarchist 8y ago
people would treat someone who acts like batman irl like a tool. i have some of his personality quirks myself like all serious a lot of the time cuz this isn't a game, people laugh at that irl. nobody's laughing whenit's the fight against evil.
_the_shape_ 8y ago
For what end?
It is entirely possible to be strong, self-assured, and successful without having to become egotistical, underhanded, or reckless.
Far better is to understand dark triad types for the sake of learning to identify and guard yourself against them. That's where the common folk get fleeced - they never see it coming, especially when they don't even know what to keep their eyes peeled for.
[deleted] 8y ago
defence against the dark arts! lol
aanarchist 8y ago
fight fire with fire. you can't kill psychopaths with being a strong and self assured man, you kill them by taking a spear and gutting them.
_the_shape_ 8y ago
That's true, but you'd have to devote the rest of your life to doing only that because for every psychopath you "kill", a thousand more stand right behind its corpse - an endless war, is what it would amount to.
In other words, that approach would necessarily require that you out-psychopath the psychopaths, and you'd never ultimately 'win' anyway not only because they are so vast in numbers but because you'd make your own self-destruction inevitable.
"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become one."
The art of fighting without fighting is subtle, preferable, effective.
stoicismexpress 8y ago
Thing is, being a strong and self assured man is a lot more fun than being a depressed psychopath. Its easier to just stay away from the fire in the first place and not get burned.
dr_warlock 8y ago
When you walk into the fire, you realize it doesn't burn, and that worries you. You think it should, you want it to. However, if you accept the fact that it doesn't, the implications are daunting and astronomical. Your entire life warps and so many things lose meaning.
-
Embrace the fire and you shall weild its power.
[deleted] 8y ago
You reach for the fire because you were already burning before. Then you move on to realize its just your natural environment, and you relax: no anomaly, only past ignorance. Indeed the moment your hand stop trying to hit the world but you start feeling the world acting out through your hand is daunting. Basically you stop being the ball moving because the ball before hits you and you discover a gas pedal in your mind. Your will learns to use the higher forces for your own gain and you stop being a "thing", but a channel for that energy and a part of its system. It kinds of remove any possible nostalgy from your beta past illusions and emotional complacency.
It starts kind of the freudian criminal, the one that feels guilt and doesn't know why so since he needs to unite internal and external reality he commits a crime to have something to justify his guilt. Only in this case is a net positive because the fire extinguish the guilt.
soviet_dissident 8y ago
Sticking with politics, I think the best original example of this was Jon Stewart on The Daily Show. He would argue with guests, throwing factual jabs and disarming/humiliating them with humor. In the event that they came up with a good counterargument, he would just throw up his arms and do the whole "I'm just a dumb comedian, why are you even arguing with me?" bit. It was infuriating to watch and I'm happy to see people on the Right (e.g., Milo) adopting the strategy.
[deleted] 8y ago
Slight divergence, but your 'fault finder' archetype immediately resonated with a whole bunch of irritating shit Ive been dealing with over the last year or do. Ive never heard of this personality type before but as soon as I saw the brief description I realised I could describe it in detail based on a large number of people I have to work with (quirk of the profession).
Can anybody recommend any further reading or methods for dealing with people that get their own way in this manner? I personally find it not only extremely difficult to deal with, but also irritating as fuck.
To be clear, it's mainly when these people are either significantly more experienced, or direct bosses that I find this really problematic.
IllimitableMan 8y ago
Not seen anything on it, but I've got lengthy notes on it. It's a concept I've had floating around in the background for awhile now. Might produce a piece on it in the future if time allows.
[deleted] 8y ago
i am dealing with a woman who fancies herself a Jester. Atfirst our exchanges are amusing but they quickly devolve as the undercurrent of her frustration appears at having no Jester to outwit her. My tactics are hit and run, engage her when she is not ready and leave quickly before her hidden contempt manifests.
[deleted] 8y ago
Hitchens was good at polemics but he was out of shape, smoked and drank like crazy, and supported the war in Iraq while claiming to be a humanist; though I have tremendous respect and admiration for him. Milo is good at polemics but he is also more contrarian than moral, for instance with disregarding circumcision as a human rights abuse, or holding up the alt right as fully or mostly rational, and worth being embraced by college students. But Milo and Hitchens are both mostly moral to me.
One person humiliating another just creates more social disconnection for both, which means less emotional security as a result of us being a social species, and thus less ability to act in the world due to inner battles with emotional insecurity, and thus less power. I think for this reason polemics is connected to self-destruction, and that Hitchens is known for his polemics because they were connected to the large amount of self-destructive hedonism in his life; but I'm also not saying that hedonism or pleasure seeking is entirely wrong, because that would also be irrational, and I don't want to give up e-cigarettes.
Another argument is that polemics can advance a perceived moral cause faster than without it, which would be being calm, kind, non-manipulative, and evidence-based. This argument hasn't been fully disproved yet so its still valid.
Jokes also help keep people's attention longer if they're good, you can tell jokes in order to get a message across without the intent being malevolent, like Sir Ken Robinson in this TED Talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG9CE55wbtY
I noticed you wrote "hopeless moralist" in your article (MORALITY & MACHIAVELLIANISM), and I think that you are wrong on the assertion that morality is hopeless. Human beings appear generally more moral than other animals because of working more together over time-- inclusive of male parental investment and skill based leadership, more abundant resources as a result of cooperation, and more understanding about the world and ourselves which grows resources, cooperation, and emotional security which allows more positive action. Morality is the result of evolution, and the best polemics or jesters safeguard morality, albeit not always perfectly, because they are the result of it.
vandaalen 8y ago
As always good stuff.
I'd like to add that when implying physical violence you should also be able (and mean) to go through with it, especially when you are dealing with DTs who are oftentimes much better in analyzing your body language and behaviour, and will probably call a bluff.
This doesn't only mean that you know how to properly apply it, but also are actually able to hurt people, and maybe even like hurting them a little bit.
Training a martial art (MMA in my case) which features full contact sparring (not some bullshit like Krav Maga or WT) will do the trick. It will also help you to loose the fear of getting hurt yourself.
You'll also meet people over the time, who emit the implication of physical violence with just being present and who, although are very friendly people, don't need a shirt that tells you to not fuck with them.
[deleted] 8y ago
Dissing martial arts like Krav Maga is foolish and makes you look childish. Anyone with a decent level of proficiency in Krav Maga would take the head off someone with no fighting training.
vandaalen 8y ago
Because people who are prone to getting into street fights usually don't have fight experience?
[deleted] 8y ago
Also, plenty of Krav Maga places do incorporate sparring.
mr_wiffles 8y ago
Krav Maga isn't often if ever really used in sparring because it's incredibly brutal. It's not bullshit. Sparring by definition means you're not using all your techniques, you're not applying full force, and you're not trying to seriously harm - or even kill - your sparing partner. All KM techniques are rooted in the idea that you must apply as much force as necessary to achieve safety. If that means you need to break bones, you break bones. That doesn't happen in sparring.
That said, I fully agree with occasional sparring as a way to work on your fear of getting hit. Over time your instinctual fear will diminish because you'll realize it's not as bad as you think.
Just be aware that unlike sparring, a real street fight has no rules, no pads, no mouthpiece, no ref, no ambulances to call, no help, no backup, no mat, only one attacker, and no consequences. What it does have are multiple attackers, eye gouging, knives, shivs and guns. Sparring will never prepare you for that and in fact might limit your ability to defend yourself in that situation because you're going to fight like you train. Sparring-specific habits, once embedded, put you in more danger in real street fights - not less.
vandaalen 8y ago
Please. Not that old "Muuuh! It's tooooo bruuutal!" bullshit. Krav Maga and those alike only work on non-resisting opponents. That is the problem and nothing else.
If you would have ever done sparring as part of preparing for a fight, you would also know better about not wanting to hurt your opponent or hitting light or developing bad habits.
Laughable. If I have you in an armbar I don't need to break your arm in sparring to know that I could and that you could do nothing against it. Again: if you knew just anything about fighting you wouldn't talk bullshit like that. Also in a tournament, if you don't tap, I just break your arm. No hesitation.
Are you really trying to sell me that snake oil, that learning to apply technique under the pressure of sparring is less good than playing fighting with a partner who does exactly what you want him to?
Bitch, please. Stop drinking from the streetfighting koolaid, that so many drank before.
That's the problem with the Krav Maga shit. People feel way to over-confident with it. Until they are confronted with a real situation and find out that that shit does not work for two cents, if you are against an uncooperative opponent.
Let aside that i.e. Gracie Jiu Jitsu has its roots in streetfighting and was meant as a self-defense program for weak people to be able to defend against bigger and stronger opponents and is even often taught as such.
mr_wiffles 8y ago
orly? Two words: prove it.
No, because after training for over a decade in two different systems, not once have I had a training partner "do what I want him to". You have extremely poor judgement if you've been evaluating the entirety of a martial art invented explicitly for military application during the hell of the second world war based on this demonstrably erroneous idea.
Let me tell you a story as it was told to me by one of only five expert-level instructors in the IKMF system within the United States.
He was drilling into us the idea that you never STAY engaged with an opponent during a fight. You hinder, incapacitate quickly, shove away, or just plain run like hell, but above all, you never, ever want to stay "in the fight" with them.
Now I thought, "what the hell? I want to beat this bastard into a bloody pulp!" So I politely asked him to explain why that is. He told me the following story:
"I have a friend," he said "that runs a private security protection company. A couple years ago they were hired to protect a diplomat during a series of meetings to take place in Paris because they suspected an assassination attempt might have been made. Sadly, they were right: one evening several attackers tried to kill the diplomat. The body guards assigned were very well trained in mixed martial arts of all kinds - BJJ, Krav Maga, and others, and all were ex military with combat experience.
One of them got an attacker into a ground-fighting position and put him into an arm bar to prevent him from being a further harm to the VIP. He absolutely could have broken the guy's arm, but while he was trying to do that, guess what happened?
Another one of the assailants walked right up to him, pulled out a hand gun and shot him in the head point blank."
Your idea of having an opponent in an arm bar and "knowing that I could" shows your own inexperience and overconfidence. And frankly if your experience comes from tournaments, you have absolutely zero credibility talking about a street fight scenario when you obviously haven't even considered things like the story above.
So, "bitch, please" take your holier-than-thou attitude and shove it up your ass.
vandaalen 8y ago
Http://www.ufc.tv/ or just come to my gym. Our cage is always open for you.
Also congratulations on proving that handguns are superior to hands. What's up next? Tank vs. Minicooper?
CyLoke 8y ago
BJJ is also the only material art were you're sparring at 100%.
stoicismexpress 8y ago
Wow you got real defensive real quick
[deleted]
CyLoke 8y ago
Oh, I see, you're one of those "the technique is too deadly to use" types, back to the McDojo you go.
mr_wiffles 8y ago
You sound pretty sensitive. Is it your time of the month?
Honestly, at least pay the fuck attention. I never said anything that you're implying here. KM doesn't often (if ever, it varies although not by much in most cases) spar because the techniques can absolutely put some one in the ER.
Since you're obviously an ignorant fuckbag, I'll even detail a technique to give you an example. In other words, I can actually prove what I'm saying with real evidence whereas all you've got is an insult. I'd encourage others reading this post to pay close attention to that fact.
Escaping a Front-Tackle
It all leads up to step 6 being the truly dangerous part. You're basically matching (if not exceeding) the attacker's position as a center of gravity to stop the advance, blocking the ability for them to totally grasp you, then literally trying to break their neck. While the human neck is much harder to break than TV would have you believe, at the very least you'll torque it pretty hard and to avoid serious injury, their body will have no choice but to be literally thrown to the side like rag-doll.
I'd say to go out and test this if you don't believe me, but you sound like lazy ignorant fuck who hasn't left mom's basement in six months. So, instead I'd recommend laying back and whacking it to your library of midget porn because if you took your fat ass outside you'd have a heart attack before you made it a block, and would probably pass out at the mere idea of having to defend yourself for real.
ActionDonson 8y ago
This has to be a troll job.
If you try to defend a double leg like that you're going to get dumped on your head like the dipshit you are.
CyLoke 8y ago
Come to my BJJ gym and try that shit lol, there's no way in fucking hell that you're stopping even a white belt that's been rolling for six months from taking you down and choking your ass out, I know, I know, you'll grab their balls or some shit.
Like I said back to the McDojo you go.
I love how butt hurt you TMA\Street Fighter guys get when you get called out on your bullshit. Krav Maga is choreography, it's the equivalent of lip syncing in the material arts world.

David Icke - The Archons
https://youtu.be/P3y_N3oRmgw
In short the Dark Triad / Archons / Lizard People / Manipulators behave pretty much like a non-human entity.
Some points:
Lack of creative original thinking.
Mimickry of existing memes, but a twisting of their meaning.
Emotionally you will feel drained by contact with them.
The effect on others is to make them "Dumbed Down".
They operate on a lower psychological frequency than humans.
Certain behaviors appear robotic or unnatural.
They are hard to spot if you don't know what to look for.
This last weekend I was at a Beer Garden and talked with an older guy. We discussed how politics in my little town is corrupt as is true about everywhere. Then he set about trying to manipulate me. My technique is to absorb, absorb, absorb... because the lies and distortions add up and it takes only a short time to catch these guys. Within five minutes I can say with high levels of certainty he was completely twisting the story he was selling. Most people would not sense it because they ignore their intuition... their "sixth sense".
[deleted]
[deleted]
[deleted] 8y ago
How did he try to manipulate you ?
NeoreactionSafe 8y ago
We were talking about how much revenue the event was going to make that day. (this thing has charities associated with it)
He makes a very outrageous claim of their revenue.
But I resist the urge to judge... I wait... I absorb more.
He then says:
"Those money drawers get so filled with money they have to empty them all the time."
And that was the moment I knew.
He was setting me up... it was a manipulation.
First he creates an outrageous "prize" of tons of cash.
He then directs me towards greed.
In his mind I was a fellow criminal.
[deleted] 8y ago
When many people start listening to a story they will turn off their rational thinking and simply go with the flow of logical sequences that the story teller is preaching. It is imperative to always be alert and be able to distinguish the links in the logical sequence that are weak in order to decide whether the information presented is plausible or not.
NeoreactionSafe 8y ago
Gather all dots.
Then using human freedom connect the dots.
Resist those who want to connect the dots for you.
This is how you end up wise and not brainwashed.
[deleted] 8y ago
So basically these "non-human" type are sociopaths, all with different "sociopathic personalities", put in similar metaphorical context based on religions/belief systems.
The 'how evil is inverted' part was a great metaphor, the inverted cross or jewish star is the same as lawyers and courts being un-just, politic powers seeking self interest instead of the interest of the people, ect.
NeoreactionSafe 8y ago
Yes.
You can just look at certain traits.
They never invent original ideas.
Are they some actual alien entity or just organically grown psychopaths?
We aren't sure.
I suspect there is a genetic component since these bloodlines go back into distant history and they carry their beliefs along too.
In our age why are people celebrating Baal worship (Moloch) in the Bohemian Grove?
The Cremation of Care ritual was once done with live human sacrifice.
So you have to wonder why this werid shit happens.
JamesSkepp 8y ago
Yes!!!! Thank you, after waiting so long, you managed to finalize the missing piece of your absurdities and add aliens to the mix.
So I assume you have confirmation of this and the cops are already on the hunt.
BiteAndThrow 8y ago

Are there any good reasons to have a jester as a friend or ally? It seems to me you haven't covered anything that is beneficial to keeping them around.
Transmigratory 8y ago
Is it advisable to become a jester while avoiding other jesters?
larryjack 8y ago
At some levels it is safer to assume everybody is DT and trying to find evidences for the contrary. Until then, DT they remain.
redartist 8y ago
I would like to elaborate on some of IM's points on dealing with Jesters:
IM astutely points out that the Jester is not physically intimidating and describes physical threats as a way of dealing with the Jester.
While certainly plausible, you are very unlikely to encounter the Jester in an environment where resolving conflicts physically is acceptable.
Which is also why the Jester is rarely going to work in a blue collar job where he has to perform the bulk of the work himself.
Being a man of wit, loathing positions of leadership, the Jester is often found in a white collar environment holding an average position or slightly above average.
If you find yourself working with the Jester, of the techniques described by IM, I would advocate running interference:
As IM has pointed out multiple times, fighting a war with the Jester is usually fruitless, if you win you have not advanced your goals, at best you have merely removed a source of environmental hazard.
What you want is for the Jester to move on to easier/interesting targets by appearing a boring/slippery target yourself.
IM has omitted the Jester's ascension to spotlight:
Contrary to what people might expect, associating the Jester with Circus, his rise to social prominence is usually subtle and starts without any grand openings.
When he arrives he studies the environment and starts with tame jokes and sometimes self-deprecating humor. This is the learning stage, some of his jokes may fall flat, but with time they gain precision. As he learns more about the people around him he starts testing the boundaries and gradually expanding them, his jokes becoming more poignant and daring. This is a man for whom "Law 38: Think as you like, but behave like others" might as well not exist, he usually knows exactly where the line is, but even he might still cross it despite knowing it, if the performance and interactions with the crowd is thrilling enough for him.
It's not that the Jester enjoys being good or evil - he may not care about the difference—but he does whatever he feel like without regard for others. He doesn't need a motivation or justification for doing anything beyond the amusement of the act itself. As a result the Jester almost inevitably does things that are dickish, maybe even cruel. The Jester is a force of nature, he cannot help himself but perform, even when he has good intentions he is the proverbial scorpion, it is in his nature to sting.
P.S. To men fancying this role for themselves: Don't.
The Jester has been cracking caustic jokes since grade school and he's been getting away with it since then, having all the time in the world to hone his craft. Unlike some other goal-oriented DT types he is self-destructive and at times self-sabotaging when he crosses the line even as wide as his and walks closer to insanity than most.
