tl;dr: fat Christian girls want the perfect man. You probably won't want to read this post in all honestly - I just need to vent.
<Begin rant>
Body: I'm a Christian. No, I am not here to start a moral debate but rather rant to possibly feel better about myself. IDK, spur the moment impulse maybe.
TRP has been a lifesaver to me. The "just be yourself and trust God" advice is feel good but doesn't give any actionable advice. So there is a website called Boundless. I used to read it a lot. Like, check 3 times a day a lot. Haven't read the site in maybe a year and randomly decided to hit it again to see what's happening. The entire site's dating section says to: Pray, wait on God, lower your standards. As a Christian I get the prayer part - if you don't ask you don't get. Again, not trying to start a moral debate.
Boundless also sponsors a Christian dating site called ChristianMingle. Probably have heard of it. Guess what? You can make a free profile.
Dating Profile: I pull my Tinder pics and post them minus abs pic since I knew it would be censored. (Got email later saying they rejected all but the head shot bc I wasn't "clearly seen" or "in the picture") I fill out my awesome hobbies, complete a short bio (research says 97 words is the sweet spot btw). I fill out my preferences for a partner and am cleared to browse.
The Girls : Awesome! Now I can peruse the girls in my area since I have an account! Hot dog!
- Fat Chicks
- Old Chicks
- Ugly Chicks
- All of the above Chicks
God save me.
So I click on the least ugly girl there. Maybe a 6? She wants the perfect guy. Just what every guy in the world is: 20 years old, wants lots of kids, good job, passion for mission trips (mission trips require you to beg for money - no golden tickets there).
The Guys : Hopped over to the men bc why not check out the competition? (Honestly surprised they would let me look at the males...)
- Old
- Fat
- BETA
One guy was 58 years old - never married. Doesn't drive. Had a book for his profile (I didn't read the whole thing and I bet the girls didn't either) Said he kissed a girl in college and hasn't since - wants to wait until the alter. Was proud of his digital camera with the timer to take his picture. The site lets you see their match preferences and his were: 22-99 and "doesn't smoke". My own were quite more rigorous - particularly on body type. Most girls think 20 pounds over weight and double chin is common so "average" is an exceptable response for body type. But I digress....
I have noticed Christian girls are usually heavier because of the "God will provide" message. "Honey, he will love you for who you are. It is vain and a sin to worry about looks." So they let themselves go or don't even try to present themselves in the best light. News flash: I shave of my neck beard every day to look the best version of myself. I ain't doing it for no girl. Shaving that upper lip is a service to society my dear. Stands to note: on Boundless, the authors of these articles are either single or recently engaged at 30 something and are all below my standard in BMI rating regardless.
I won't get noticed on this site because of the crappy pics allowed and will probably take the profile down in a week or so. Even if they clicked on my profile, my bio is censored so... yeah...
<End Rant> Lessons Learned
- Online dating sucks
- Online girls are fat and demanding
- Christian guys are inherently beta
Benny757 8y ago
OP, you already verified checking out the male competition that it did not exist. You worry about getting noticed. You sir have to make "YOUR OWN LUCK."
Read the sidebar. Again and again, and again. SWALLOW the pill. In other words, go from expelling red pill doctrine, to internalizing and accepting it. Stop sharing and talking. Now start being and doing.
It takes time. 4-6-8 1 year, 3 years...dude, it takes time. You are not a marathoner if you complete 1 marathon. Story for you. A bloke I knew came up to me all critical and questioned "Why do I have to do another marathon to really matter, why isn't 1 enough...." And I answered "because 1 isn't enough."
The thing is you have to earn and grow to become accepted. And your body will prove to you that this is true. The next marathon run after staying in shape is incredibly easier, and faster. But tough things have no mercy and they will bring you down if you fuck around with them.
Reality check. You really give a fuck about fat chicks looking for Alpha on online dating sites? Get the fuck to the gym. Get outside. You are Christian. Christ spent a considerable amount of time alone outside in the desert/wilderness. Lucifer, his tempter and foe were not so kind either as the story goes. Christ was rather alpha out there, I'd wager to guess. No online dating worries for him, far as I can tell. He had your ass to worry about...and mine too if the story is true. Seems he was owning his shit so to speak. And boy did he, if the story holds true. But that's for future times.
exit_sandman 8y ago
Sorry, but your post was an incoherent mess.
dking168 8y ago
The reason online dating is popular and becoming the norm is because of rejection.
Getting rejected online is much easier on the person and their ego than getting rejected in person.
People don't want to admit it, but it's the truth.
bittr_n_swt 8y ago
this was my reasoning when i wasn't getting laid as a bluepill beta bitch
verify_account 8y ago
No, it's popular because it's convenient. I can interact with way more females via tinder on a given night than I can in a coffee shop or bar.
Jaso-n 8y ago
"interact" - not really an interaction though is it.
TermsOfColors 8y ago
This has nothing to do with religion. Everything you complained about is on every dating site no matter if it's targeted at a particular demographic (religion, race, age, etc.) or wide open.
I could see being more frustrated than usual due to limiting yourself to one demographic such as this. Smaller pool. But I doubt it would make much difference if you widened your pool.

Don't you guys just meet girls at church?
Docbear64 8y ago
online dating is hard as a fellow christian ...online dating a christian girl sounds is hard mode . I met a chick from OKCupid late last year and managed to have sex with her on our second date I believe .... .she was insane ...thanks to the post today I see had borderline disorder and I understand why I got a mountain of texts at 3 in the morning telling me how bad she felt and what a sinner she was . Which is understandable I corrupted the poor thing .... it was the second time where she promised me she could handle it and sex was ok and blah blah blah where she also texted me at 3 in the morning after that I decided this wouldn't work .
Honestly I would try to see if there are local church singles event near you and try your luck their honestly . Meetup.com is great for that stuff .
As a fellow christian man I feel your pain . if normal chicks have high barriers to entry a christian chick is going to have added Religious SMV you'll have to compete with online , it's probably better to just impress her in person in that case .
[deleted] 8y ago
Meetup is full of fags. So many I stopped saving the screen shots.

Hot girls don't really need online dating. They have reality working in their favor. Can't go 10 feet without being given a dick to accept or deny. Why's she going to waste hours a day online being presented more dicks?
If she is, then there's a real reason for it. Anyone with half a brain can think of several.
T4CK 8y ago
This statement is so true that it hurts. In my circle of Christian friends, I hear more and more, "I am God's perfect design and the right man will accept me for how I am." They use it as a crutch for eating fast food, being lazy and not giving two fucks about their looks.
Sadly, this physical trait often carries to their emotional side. I hear more and more often things like, "I'm a damaged flower that needs serious emotional reinforcement before I will even consider even having coffee with a man."
This is pretty much the bulk of church men. They tend to be cowards, shy and callow. Just being outgoing and straight forward sets you apart from everyone.
smartengineer93 8y ago
You said it right. It does carry to the emotional side. My first gf (pre RP) refused to do anything outside of her house. Wouldn't go anywhere or do anything. Broke up because all she wanted to do was watch movie. Then she would go out with her friends and do fun stuff. I couldn't come because I had a dick and it might fall into her in public. She was so concerned about staying a virgin she basically didn't date.
MeatCurtainRod 8y ago
I read this one article a few months or years back that said that they had gathered all the statistical data on 3 popular websites like match and pof, and they found startling data. The sample data was ALL profiles with pictures in it.
One, we can assume that the "average" person is roughly on the 50% mark. That means HB5 is average, HB3 is below average, and HB7 is above average.
The survey found that men gauged women's pictures on average higher than the average. That means men said 50% of all female pictures were actually HB7 or higher. This is stretching the norm, but it also means that women are experts in selfies and hiding imperfections.
The survey also found that women gauged men's pictures VERY POORLY. They found that of all the men's pictures, that women thought only 20% of all men were HB6 or higher.
High standards and low quality offerings is right. There are obviously unicorns, but they usually get taken quickly.

same religion bro fist bump
in my experience, the church and Christian areas are the absolute worst places to find morally-inclined women..
not that it bothers me, as I have no intention of getting married. I just feel like it was worth mentioning.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
Glad to find another Christian MGTOW, high five
The__Tren__Train 8y ago
Oh I'm not MGTOW, I love women, and think they're great. I'm just never going to make myself financially or legally vulnerable to them.
[deleted] 8y ago
Of course. Christian women tend to be even sluttier because its more taboo.
The__Tren__Train 8y ago
and/or because the idea of Christ's forgiveness helps them hamster away indiscretions..
E.G. "Born again virgins"
of course the whole "repenting" thing is optional and thus, totally irrelevant. /s
[deleted] 8y ago
"I cheated on my Husband & had a 5-on-1 gang bang with tall studly men from my gym, but its okay. My husband doesn't know and Jesus will forgive me!" - Literally christian women.
Instead of going through each individual subset of women, its much easier to view their gender as the collective of whores it is. All it is.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
It's sad. The church I go to is mostly Adults 18-29. Lots of young adults. You have a bunch of women who obviously were big party girls and perhaps drug users, definate CC riders, who show up as they are hitting the wall, usually bringing their bastard children along with them and checking them into the nursery or kid's church, and buy into the whole born again virgin garbage.
What's sadder is that you have a conga line of beta men lining up to orbit these post wall, post-CC born again virgin women.
One of these women, younger 30s, post-post wall(you can tell she is rapidly deteriorating, probably was an 8 or 9 in her prime, now is a 5 at best) who has 3 kids, just got married to a beta at my Church. It's sad watching this guy. You wouldn't know they were even married by watching them. The guy spends the whole service babysitting one of the kids who for some reason isn't in the nursery/kid's church, and the wife sits as far away from him as possible without making it look like there is a gap between them. She shows no affection or emotion toward him, and the guy looks like your textbook beta bucks. I bet the bedroom is completely dead, and if he does get any sex, its not even starfish sex, as a starfish is probably more active than she is when she does her duty sex.
For the rest of the church, its a bunch of 21, 22, 23 year old guys trying to wife up as soon as they can for some reason, and the 21-23 year old women more than happy to oblige. So you have a bunch of these guys wifing up ugly women and committing themselves to HB4s or worse at a young age well before their prime. Betaness is a cancer.

Online dating is a buyers market per definition. Girls no matter what SMV they have choose among suitors. This can be enhanced by photoshop much like a bank customers enhance his earning potential and credit score. Thats why here on TRP online dating is considered a fun thing with low input ie abs pic, traveling pic and no persona description.
Real life is a sellers market. High SMV men sell toxic papers ie pump n dump to low SMV girls. High SMV girls might get real derivatives and bulk stock ie commitment.
the_pill_is_free 8y ago
I think they just say that to filter out the bottom % of men because they read that and just dont message her.
massivewang 8y ago
Listen bro, as long as you're limited to Christian women, you're fucked.
AWALT.
With that said, ever notice that the hot Christian girls are married to Christian alphas? And that the majority of the single girls at your church are plain or unattractive?
Your best bet is to become alpha as fuck and pray to God that a hot single girl walks in and you can be the best alpha. Really, it's not much of a solution.
MentORPHEUS Senior Endorsed 8y ago
How is your own SMV? Any areas you think you could improve upon? Have you uploaded more pics that meet that site's requirements, so you're not Mr. Headshot Only on there?
Do you live in a large or small dating market? Have you used other dating sites? With this info we can be more specific.
I use POF, and find that I can book up my calendar and need to hide my profile in 4-10 days, with half a dozen solid prospects to churn through.
A majority of women on that site identify as Christian; some that's all they write about. I remember one profile where the only nouns used were: I, me, church, bible, books.
ETA: I write unusually long profiles, but I make sure they're readable, interesting, and polarizing. It really connects with those who are a good match for what I'm looking for (LTR that I can converse with too) and preselects the hell out of those I actually go out with. I also get messages like "I don't think we're a match but your profile was really interesting!"
smartengineer93 8y ago
It can always be higher but I am personally happy with how I look. I'm a short guy so a little goes a long way w a V frame. I like to use pics showing me doing something : surfing, dancing, shooting. Cute dogs also give them something to message about. But those aren't allowed.
This was more of an exercise/experiment anyways so I'm not to worry about it. I prefer to meet women in person anyways. This post is honestly mental masturbation pointing out the poor quality online amplified through a religious lense.
I've tried POF but that was like 3 years ago when I was still a stick figure so I may not have had a good sampling.
makeshift98 8y ago
What exactly the fuck are you complaining about? You realize online dating is a numbers game for even the smoothest mother fucker, right?
[deleted] 8y ago
this. pick your HB#, and go on as many drink dates as possible with girls at or above that number. you get in a lot of practice to polish your game.
the problem i've found in going on 10-20 dates per week is that girls reliably don't look like their profile as a whole, and DEFINITELY nothing like her best pic. take her absolute worst picture, and then in real life she's 1-3 notches below that. i usually do 5ish dates a week now, because i don't bother unless she looks like a HB10 in her pics. they're usually HB8/9 in person.
no body shot = she's fat. if you can't see her unexposed arms or waist, she's fat. girls aren't dumb... if she is attractive, she'll show it off.
weird angles = she's fat, probably ugly too.
if her pics contain children and she doesn't disclaim them in her comments, she's a single mother.
unless she works at a tiny company, or she's a nurse/teacher, she's probably a fucking psychopath. at big companies (and large colleges), coworkers will be hounding her, and she'll be going out with her friends, meeting guys... if she has to resort to online dating even though she has a sea of dick to choose from offline, it's usually not because she's a special snowflake. it's because no one in her offline life can or will date her. nurses, teachers, and girls working at small companies only get a free pass because there's usually not enough dick around them in the first place.
also, insta-pass on any girl saying anything about how she's "looking for a real man", "no hookups/ONS", or any of that shit. she's collecting orbiters to inflate her self-esteem (waste of time, you'll never meet), or she's an alpha-widow hitting the wall and hopping off the CC... she's looking for BB.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
Best advice I can give for online daters... if she has a good body, she will show it off. If she has nice tits, she will show them off. If she has a nice ass, she will show it off.
If she is hiding something, or you can't see an aspect of her body in her pics, she is hiding it for a reason.
makeshift98 8y ago
This x1000. It's actually fucking incredible that all women are born with some innate photography skills and advanced understanding of angles. I've gone through so many profiles were she looked smoking, until you see a full body shot and shes fucking hideous.
This I disagree with. Listening to women on what they SAY they want is completely fucking pointless.
NeoreactionSafe 8y ago
Any girl worth having can get all she needs just walking down the street.
Tinder and other apps just amplify that and fuel the Cock Carousel™.
The only justice is that the Cock Carousel™ suddenly ends at the Wall (30) and those women drop to near zero value.
So for attractive women they have about a decade on top... then it's over.
As for religion...
I'd suggest you learn the basic hebrew alphabet and pick up a little about the Rubik's Cube which is the true knowledge of Natural Laws and the divine.
The Nicene Creed projects a snapshot of the Rubik's Cube.
The Red Pill is more like ancient hebrew.
Frame and Game are more real that the "derivative religions".
Mark Passio - Natural Law Seminar - YouTube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57UBuxnicOA
Yod - Hei - Vav - Hei : "Yahweh" (God) means:
Masculine male has sex with female to create life.
...is there any wonder why it was forbidden to say in church?
abdada 8y ago
Look for postmodern Christian churches in your area, especially any emergent ones. I used to go to an outdoor church group that was 95% fit folks and a good variety of singles and married folks. Very postmodern, very warm community and no weird gossip about intermember dating. Some very lovely red pill type women, too. Corporate worship was mostly a few folks with guitars and tambourines sitting on a fallen log singing David Crowder songs. Tons of fun, too.
Luckyluke23 8y ago
if they do a cook out and i can get drunk I'm in.
smartengineer93 8y ago
Thanks for the suggestion. Wasn't posting for relationship advice but it is always welcome. TRP has changed my life and I meet plenty of women now. Just wishing they were someone I could take home to the mother. Every girl I've met in the past year has been a slut. Maybe that is just the opened eyes and I can never unsee it...
abdada 8y ago
Look for women with still-married parents. That helps, a lot. Also helps if they are from the town you live in versus having moved there for jobortunities.
[deleted] 8y ago
As a Jew who has debauched more than a few "Christian" girls. Don't put any stock in that whole "waiting for marriage" schtik. It's not worth it. A girl I banged out hardcore in high school married her high school sweet heart. He told me at the wedding he was nervous because they had both been waiting for marriage and they hadn't done anything more than kiss.
Well...I had fuck the girl on her parents' washing machine, gotten more than a few blow jobs in her family's garage. Eaten her pussy like it was New York style cheesecake and I was a starving Ethiopian. She was the third girl I ever did "forced multiple orgasming" on and she loved it. She was the first girl I ever rimmed and then fucked in the ass. And this went on for two years, that period between when I got a car and then we all graduated from high school and I got invited to the wedding because I was that friend in high school she shared all her secrets with. Two years later they got a divorce, she had a kid, a year after that she looked me up and we fucked like rabbits and I got her into BDSM and all kinds of other horrible stuff.
Most women who like sex, are probably going to fall into that "slut" category you are worried about. And all those good little christian girls you hope to meet, likely haven't been all that good, they are just looking for a chump to deny and roll BB/AF on.
Don't give women more credit than you give men. It's all about treating them equally now, and that means equally shitty. Keep an eye out for one you can mold and improve but be ok with fucking all the wrong ones along the way. Build up your Fuck God Skill, build up your confidence, and DGAF.
Granted I'm a cynic and have seen the dark, sad, pathetic, and base nature of humanity more times than I can count.
Have fun.

Didn't Samson beat the shit out of fuckers with donkey jaws and shit? I remember the story of his hair when I was younger.
[deleted] 8y ago
Yes. Samson was cornered without a weapon so he grabbed a jawbone. I take it as a sign of God's careful planning. The Isrealites cried out for a judge and God was like 'alright- he's in the oven right now. He will have to grow up and then he will judge the nation for me. Oh, I should kill this donkey now so he will be able to kill a bunch of people when the time is right.
ShakurMathers 8y ago
Sounds beta. Getting betrayed and then lashing out on others? Lel
PFworth 8y ago
He killed a few thousand people by ripping down some columns
ShakurMathers 8y ago
He probably didn't. Someone made it up that he did though. Still pathetic, killing people is alpha? Thats sad If you think so.
[deleted] 8y ago
Killing at times is a necessity to consolidate and create power. Remember the ancient Hebrews under David wiped out the folks who lived at the site that became Jerusalem. It was a way of taking land to organize and settle the Hebrew people. You can also look at Jericho, and if you read the Old Testament with a sober eye you will see that the Hebrews under Moses raided and pillaged the Egyptian countryside in preparation for leaving Egypt and this was partly the reason Egypt pursued to the Hebrews and later were defeated in an ambush at the Sea of Reeds (not the Red Sea) where Hebrew infantry were able to defeat bogged down chariots.
Killing is just another way of doing business at times. Sometimes it's political, sometimes it's fun. Just depends on the situation. We look at Temujin, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar and their ilk as alphas. Guess what, they killed a lot of people to get what they wanted and make their place in history.
Might makes right, no matter what lies we tell ourselves.
ShakurMathers 8y ago
Well are we in ancient times now? No. Being redpill doesn't mean being next columbine or just lack of morals. Its different times. Get some confidence and you are set with whatever you want to do... Be it job or money etc..
abdada 8y ago
I'm the wrong guy to ask. I'm a Preterist so I don't look at the Bible as a book to guide man but as an explanation of God's love of man and the history of that relationship.
The Bible isn't a map or guide for me. That's a ridiculous premise invented by the Futurist camp.
i_forget_my_userids 8y ago
What exactly makes one a preterist?
abdada 8y ago
The basic separation between Futurists and Preterists is that Futurists believe that God/Jesus will return in the future to bring an end to sin and death and provide a new "kingdom" for believers.
Preterists believe all of that happened 2000 years ago, and that the kingdom is the now and today, and that sin doesn't exist anymore.
[deleted]
[deleted] 8y ago
I'm starting to lean towards atheism but I like the idea of a wrathful masculine bro god.
abdada 8y ago
That's one of the awesome things about the Preterist interpretation -- atheists aren't shunned. There's nothing for us to proselytize to others. There's no "Good News" and no "salvation". People are free to live their lives as they please, believe what they want to believe. There's no hell or pain and suffering.
[deleted] 8y ago
Hell and the concept of pain and suffering was a Roman and Greek invention that simply got adapted for the Post Jesus interpretation of Christianity that was a concocted mash of supposed Apostles and their writings, then bureaucratically picked over and subsequently refined at the Council of Niocene (can't remember the spelling).
abdada 8y ago
Yep, the First Council of Nicaea -- it's a tough one to spell lol.
Futurism is a modern interpretation of Scriptures. It's a political view on faith versus an actual personal view on faith. When people (mostly future Christians, in fact) approach me on Preterism they end up being confused. "So what is it all about then?" is a common question.
My faith isn't about things that will come in the future, but a better understanding of what happened in the past. I have no "hope" for the future when I know I'm living in a perfect (spiritual) world today, free of sin and condemnation and judgment.
[deleted] 8y ago
If that's the case, then I'm very disappointed in God.
theuppertwenty 8y ago
Can confirm that online dating is getting harder and harder. I consider myself within the top 20% (6'1, athletic body, former fashion model, now an attorney with an annual income above 100k) but even I'm having to put a lot of work in on tinder to get those HB8+ girls to grab a drink with me. Most of the time, they're downright stupid and uneducated and have nothing to offer except for their pussy.
RealTalk99 8y ago
I can confirm this - the 'tinder' phase is over. Quality girls no longer use it, and those that do have literally just left a relationship as damaged goods. Initially everyone was on it, easy to catch a quality girl, now you'll struggle for an average girl, and if you find her you'll have to work much harder. Girls generally have been there/done that on tinder etc and the 'novelty' of that tinder experience has gone as they get creepy messages 24/7. Ever the low level beta boys have wised up and bombard even the fugly girls for attention as it's an easy cast. Entitlement on tinder is at an all-time high. Easier to just stop a girl in the street and chat, instant signs of interest (or not) and a buyers market since very few men tap that resource.
rpslim 8y ago
You know what else is a sin ? Gluttony.

As a lifelong, strong Christian, I think religion is the most commonly used ASD in existance for women. They ride the CC behind the scenes, but put on their "I am a godly woman" front to make up for it and hide the fact.
[deleted] 8y ago
This is the truth. Christian women are so bad to their husbands because God will always love the and gets all the credit.
I was talking to a guy a bible study about his week and he was explaining how his wife was ill and he took care of her. She gave a praise report on how sick she was and how God came through. She gave no praise or credit to her husband.
I swear, Christian husbands are getting cucked by Christ. My ex-wife wouldn't cook me breakfast unless it was my birthday or memorial day... but she would wake up early one a month to make 2 courses for Potlatch at church.
freedominlight2 8y ago
Sad days, ah well that's why we're pushed here.
sterlinghtsmi 8y ago
I went to this awesome christian church. There were lots of dancing and music and a lot of young single women, in fact, so many available young girls, they would sometimes sacrifice one or two on the alter! It was such a progressive church that even sex before marriage was not frowned upon but actually rather rampant and there were more than one orgy if I remember. Although, I think they were low on funds to fix the place up because the cross was broken and hanging upside-down....ton's of great people though.

Physio_Tool 8y ago
But to be fair, those who claim atheists or agnosticism dont somehow escape the enslavement of modern culture. They still get enslaved by their lack ofmwill power, marketing, biases, conformism, consumerism, emotional indoctrination, etc....No one is nearly as free as they think they are. Just pointing this out before someone thinks not belonging to a religion makes you somehow a free man.
Colossus_of_Clout 8y ago
Who ever said that atheists or agnostics escape the "enslavement" of modern culture?? I don't think anyone would argue the fact that we are all, for the most part a product of our culture. What's your point? We're also slaves to our environment (oxygen, water, nourishment). Ok, these are facts..
My life (socially, health-wise, romantically etc.) runs quite smoothly, completely void of religion. This is the case for a large part of the modern world. I don't waste my time with things that add zero value to my existence - and to be blunt - are obviously complete horseshit.
vengefully_yours 8y ago
Most people want to be led, to have someone else point the direction for them to go, tell them where not to tread, impose limits upon them. It is largely irrelevant if it's religion, some kind of sjw/feminist dogma, or society in general that imposes limits on them, they're followers.
There is a difference between social pressure and laws that keep people from killing each other and stealing, one aims to enslave you, the other attempts to protect everyone from the bigger hairless ape. The bigger ape will either stay mostly within the boundaries, or go beyond and end up incarcerated by a larger number of smaller apes.
You can get free of marketing and bullshit, but if you like your toys and passive entertainment, chances are you won't have the willpower or awareness that you're being forced to comply through coercion. It's part of the nature of some people to conform, fewer to not conform, and then you have those who try desperately to be nonconformist but still end up doing exactly that with others over a certain issue because they felt inadequate or outcast due to appearance or some other reason.
Some of us are not encumbered by all that shit, and it pisses off most people to be around them, but often they will be the ones leading.
GiantBonobo 8y ago
Polytheistic religions too, you just pick your "master" among the proposed roster.
Which leaves us with animism, where your "master" is a hallucination you get when sniffing mushrooms, and/or your dead ancestors.
No, really, pretty much every religion is about submission. And that includes sects like scientology.

Buddhism's more about checking out.
Buddhism's awesome.
[deleted] 8y ago
To be honest, when it comes to TRP, satanism is the most applicable. Satanism's awesome.
Not a joke or sarcasm.
cariboo_j 8y ago
Satanism of the Anton LaVay variety? Yeah probably.
Buddhism would be more applicable to mgtow. Desire = suffering, the way to end suffering is to cease clinging to stuff and your desires, all that.
[deleted] 8y ago
Yes, that is why both MGTOW and Buddhism are both just ways to justify being weak and passive. Stuff and desires are two completely different things. Stuff can be a desire. Not doing that is one of the things I agree with Buddhism on I guess. But not pursuing your desires because it's going to hurt? I don't agree with that.
cariboo_j 8y ago
It's more nuanced than that. Buddhism is about the Middle Path. It was a response to the extreme, ostentatious asceticism of Hindu monks at the time.
Both hedonism and self-denial are two forms of "addiction". The Middle Path is more like going about your normal business but with an adjusted mental state.
For example: say you decide to train for a marathon. A non-buddhist person might think to themselves "I need to finish this marathon. When I finish it then I'll be happy. Then I'll feel complete."
The Buddhist person would recognize the finish line is not the finish line. Even if they get first place there will still be some nagging sense of restlessness. Even when they reach the finish line, they'll still be hungry for some new goal post to strive towards. This doesn't mean that Buddhism would recommend not training for a marathon, just because the satisfaction gained from finishing it is temporary and will lead to other desires.
Buddhism would recommend adjusting one's mental game. The finish line is only a temporary satiation of desires. Instead of constantly striving for some goal post that's just out if reach, one can use the training itself as a form of meditation. Run and train to feel plugged in to life, to get into that flow state. The idea that you'll "finally" be happy when you come in first place is an illusion.
So two people doing the exact same activity. Training for a marathon. One is in a state of constant dissatisfaction, striving for some finish line that's always just out of reach. In a state of mental turmoil. Like a rat in a cage spinning on a wheel.
The other has plugged into the flow state of running and through giving up the striving for satisfaction at the finish line, is paradoxically getting "satisfaction" from each step he takes on his training runs.
Buddhism isn't so much about giving up on taking action, it's about adjusting your mental game to take action for it's own sake rather than laboring under the illusion that action will bring you some lasting satisfaction.
[deleted] 8y ago
Alright good explanation. I was mainly considering the extreme forms of Buddhism which seem to concern mainly isolation and escape. However, a total hedonistic lifestyle is not good either. I suppose either can be beneficial when not used to the extreme.

Humanity is inherently submissive. You have to be a slave to something in this world. No escaping this fact. Doesn't matter if you're an atheist, Christian, etc. Atheists are slaves to sin. Christians are slaves to God. Redpillers are slaves to pussy under the guise of self-improvement. You can bash my interpretation all you want, but my master treats me the best.
[deleted] 8y ago
On the other hand, and as if by way of compensation, religion teaches people to be extremely self-centered and conceited. It assures them that god cares for them individually, and it claims that the cosmos was created with them specifically in mind. This explains the supercilious expression on the faces of those who practice religion ostentatiously: pray excuse my modesty and humility but I happen to be busy on an errand for god.
If one must have faith in order to believe something, or believe in something, then the likelihood of that something having any truth or value is considerably diminished. The harder work of inquiry, proof, and demonstration is infinitely more rewarding, and has confronted us with findings far more “miraculous”and “transcendent”than any theology. Actually, the “leap of faith”—to give it the memorable name that Soren Kierkegaard bestowed upon it—is an imposture. As he himself pointed out, it is not a “leap”that can be made once and for all. It is a leap that has to go on and on being performed, in spite of mounting evidence to the contrary. This effort is actually too much for the human mind, and leads to delusions and manias. Religion understands perfectly well that the “leap”is subject to sharply diminishing returns, which is why it often doesn’t in fact rely on “faith”at all but instead corrupts faith and insults reason by offering evidence and pointing to confected “proofs.”This evidence and these proofs include arguments from design, revelations, punishments, and miracles. Now that religion’s monopoly has been broken, it is within the compass of any human being to see these evidences and proofs as the feeble-minded inventions that they are.
If you want to take the biggest red pill of them all check out God is not great.

Seriously, like someone who's atheist actually accepts and believes in the concept of sin.. What a fucking high horse this guy is on.
[deleted] 8y ago
Lots of atheists are whether they realize it or not.
Colossus_of_Clout 8y ago
Are what? Slaves to sin? Try putting yourself OUTSIDE OF YOUR WORLDVIEW.. It's called critical thinking. It's not like an atheist subconsciously believes in god/sin/Jesus and chooses to reject it to be rebellious. It's the fact that the stories are so BLATANTLY made up! The concept of sin means nothing to someone who doesn't subscribe to your religion, can't you understand that?
[deleted] 8y ago
I gotta tell you, being slaves to sin sounds way to religious for a lot of people to be able to swallow, but if your a slave to addiction, or a slave to pussy, or pornography, or a slave to your job you have a Master over you. Christians are voluntary slaves of Christ.
I guess what I'm saying is if you look at your life, who is your master? Is it you? Your job? Your wife and kids? Getting drunk and porn?
[deleted] 8y ago
It doesn't matter if the stories are true or not. It doesn't matter if the atheist believes in the stories or not. Many atheists are slaves to the concept of sin as others believe it to exist, they are slaves to immediate gratification. If you would have taken the time to actually think critically on this simple idea you would understand this simple concept rather than having an emotional knee jerk reaction based from your aparent personal misgivings with religion. Try setting yourself outside your personal world view once in a while.
Colossus_of_Clout 8y ago
I'm not the one claiming that one group of people are slaves to a particular set of morals and standards, you're doing that. I also need to mention that your username is deliciously ironic with regard to our conversation.
[deleted] 8y ago
For one who suggested thinking critically, you're doing an amazing little amount of that right now. No atheists are not slaves to a particular set of morals and standards, no one has claimed this, but you just now.
Colossus_of_Clout 8y ago
So what did you mean by your first comment? "Lots of atheists are whether they realize it or not."
Colossus_of_Clout 8y ago
It was a cheeky comment. Calm yourself, God-boy.

Eh, tinder and the meet me app work great for me, maybe you need to increase your SMV so that women are wanting to meet you without putting you into orbit?
thelandofdreams 8y ago
I was wondering why they always did that. Never thought about it that way, but it makes sense.
[deleted] 8y ago
If you aren't meeting them in person within seven days of starting up a conversation. You are never going to meet them. In today's day and age of Facebook, a woman can verify you exist and that you are not some creepy guy (for the most part). If it goes beyond seven days, they just aren't that interested. The only exception is when they live like four hours away but that's a whole other mess.
Craigslist is better for meeting women that same week.
thelandofdreams 8y ago
I mean, I always knew that. What I never understood is why they would just chat with you for 7+ days if they genuinely had no interest in meeting you. I mean how the hell do they get validation or enjoyment out of it?
[deleted] 8y ago
Why does a dog chase its own tail? The answer is it doesn't matter and it doesn't affect you. Play the game by the rule of large numbers. Cast your nets (not your hooks) far and wide and set your trout lines as best as you can. Stay on the move, keep lifting, keep improving yourself, and laugh at the joke of it all.
[deleted] 8y ago
Christian. I used to be a preacher, very short lived endeavor.
There are beta Christians. Then there's Teen Mania, the middle of the woods alpha fucks academy for Christian soldiers, a place where kids chant "I BEAT MY BODY AND MAKE IT MY SLAVE" and are told at their graduation ceremony in euphemistic terms that the moment they step into the real world everyone is going to try to fuck them. "So get married as soon as you can."
But yeah most social networking and dating sites are just attention farms for women. Men should only spend time there if they're high value answer low investment.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
Teen Mania. Good Lord.
After college I went to a Church in Southern California when I was doing an internship out there. Teen Mania came in and I volunteered to help out the event they were doing that weekend(called Acquire the Fire).
Good morning and good night is all I have to say. They showed up on some ratched bus, and immediately got off and all started praying over the grounds out loud and chanting. They weren't allowed to mingle with anyone at the Church, had to separate themselves.
I was impressed with how efficient and quickly they were able to set up and tear down their set, though.
[deleted] 8y ago
They were masterfully efficient. That place was the closest thing you could get to a full on Christian Officer's School. They saw themselves as being trained into God's army, needing pinpoint discipline to carry out their mission. Never have I seen more brainwashing or more effectiveness in youth.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
It seriously appeared like it was a totalitarian North Korea style group where their overseers had total, complete control over them.
[deleted] 8y ago
I actually gamed two girls affiliated with that place. One had a brother attending and she was still in high school (she was planning on going to Teen Mania). That girl had a huge crush on me and invited me to their Honor ceremony graduation thing which was supposed to be off-limits absolutely NO outsiders whatsoever.
I immediately understood why. The two big messages were:
1 - We made you hot and unapproachable, so go get married because everyone is going to want to fuck you.
2 - Get rich. God wants you to be rich and share the money with us.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
From my memory, the women involved in Teen Mania actually weren't that bad. I recall there being a few HB7s, maybe an HB8 in the group. The girl singer for their worship team was not bad looking at all.
On the flipside, the men were all betas.
It was sad though. It was a decent size church that I went to and where they had this event. Some women from the church cooked for us volunteers and the Teen Mania group the whole weekend, and Teen Mania made us arrange separate tables for them and put up a curtain. We weren't allowed to sit down and eat at their tables, or even look at them, hence the curtain.

There is no excuse for being fat if you are religious. The body is a temple, and these fatties are letting Satan desecrate their temple. The good lord helps those who help themselves.
The scriptures have quotes that will help you shame those fatties.
Il128 8y ago
I hate these posts. You're going to have a hard time dating if you haven't worked your way in to the top 20%. Get that? You have work.
Once you're in the 20%, you'll figure out who all these women rejecting you are having sex with. That's right. The top 20%.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
I used to read Boundless back in my beta days and take it all as gospel. I would try to apply it on Christian women and fail. Even for strong Christian women, it doesn't matter if you are using a so called "Godly" approach to women and dating, if you are beta, you will not be successful. Period. I falsely convinced myself if I just did everything "biblically" when it came to women, it would work out because "I am doing it God's way", and it never worked out, because I was a beta and women rejected me.
I am still a strong Christian but Boundless is a bunch of garbage. My Church is full of beta bucks settling for post wall women and lots of "born again virgin" post wall single mothers. You can just tell a vast majority of the couples at my church have dead bedrooms. Betas galore. I don't want to boast but by me simply dressing well, grooming well, and having good posture, I double the alpha quotient of the sanctuary simply by walking in. That's how beta the men are - lots of neckbeards, triggered SJW glasses, long, ungroomed hair, fat/flabby or really skinny(no good bodies), slouching posture.
The church I go to is 90% Adults 18-29. Not many hot women there. I'd say there is one HB8-9, a couple of HB6-7s, and the rest are all unattractive women. It's a wasteland. So I think your dating woes on Christian Mingle are simply the way it is for Christian dating in general. Most hot women end up being sluts because they are unable to resist Chad no matter how much they go to church growing up and values they have, so they stop going in their prime years and return once they hit the wall and want to repent.
I live in Seattle and I think ugly women on dating sites is the standard for all of them. I go on Tinder every now and then and it's not uncommon for me to swipe right 200-300 times in a row. Slim pickings. Lot's of ugly.
smartengineer93 8y ago
Second the Boundless comment. That is why I quit reading it after finding TRP. It is useless.
Exactly how I feel. Nobody takes care of themselves in the Church. "The body is a Temple" is the main reason I worked out prior RP. TRP got me doing weights (all cardio prior) but now that I know I am a catch I don't want to date anyone I know. Turn to online dating and its worse.
TheDonald2k16 8y ago
Boundless is shit. It poisons the minds of men and turns them into betas.
I remember one Boundless article I read that said to ask her father permission before taking her out on a date and always let your intentions known to her father, since she "belongs to her father until she is married". They used a lawn mower analogy, and how if you borrowed his lawn mower, he'd want to know what you were doing with it and when you were returning it.
So I took 3 girls out on dates and did that shit every time, let their father know. And I always beat myself up wondering why she never wanted to go on a 2nd date.
The only good advice on Boundless is "Real men risk rejection" which is red pill, as its best to get your intentions out as soon as possible. Everything else is shit.
It's possible to take a Christian red pill approach to women/dating. Naturally you would think the Christian approach to women/dating is beta, and for the most part, it is, based on how Christians you observe approaching it. But you can turn the tables and make it alpha/red pill. Focus on getting into the Top 20%, raise your SMV, lift, don't orbit, make your intentions known, don't pedestal(idolatry) and captain/first mate.
