Great post. I've been around here for a little over a year now through various reddit accounts, TRP IRC, and applying these things to my life. I very recently started to develop somewhat of a oneitis for a girl I thought to be LTR material, who ended up fucking her ex boyfriend.

I lost the frame that I spent so much time developing, all due to losing sight of AWALT. I did fail myself, and while posting this is more for me to get some keyboard time in and analyze the whole thing for myself, some part of it is to tell anyone else who might read this to never forget that AWALT is real and hypergamy is simply fact.

I have to concede that while I come to this forum more out of curiosity's sake, it is hard to really find any practical examples that work outside of the structure you describe. I can't count the amount of times girl's have asked me this. I remember reading on here they ask this question and if you say no they will keep asking themselves, "what's wrong with him?, why doesn't he have a girlfriend?," she will keep trying to figure out what flaw you have. Speaking of the hunter gatherer societies and agriculture, what was so different about THEN compared to today was that people back in those times were likely to see maybe 100-200 people in their lifetime because they were tethered to their farms, their hunting grounds and it was not uncommon for 2-3 generations of the same family to live in close proximity.

So this familial closeness and isolation led to societies that functioned properly in the context where a man found his woman and they would stay together pretty much for the rest of their natural lives.

I had one question in regards to preselection. What is a way men can build preselection in environments where you really don't know anybody? Say a new class or a new university where you don't know a single person (pretty much my case right now).
