I've been dabbling in the 40s man/college woman area for a few months now. The goal is to find a part time/long term relationship with an intellectual and mentoring connection, not just a sex for money gig. This has put me into contact with some professional Sugar Babies, with interesting observations coming forth.
Recently I started emailing a 20yo psych major, ideal as this is one of my favorite areas of study. After some promising initial banter involving Maslow, Erikson, and Skinner, we turned to an initial chemistry test meeting at a local Starbucks, and she rather pointedly turned the discussion to compensation.
Each side was deliberately vague about a specific number, and I recommended we meet before she settles upon a figure. Then she hit me with something that may be de rigeur in the Sugar Baby world, but made my burgeoning interest go flaccid because of its sheer audacity.
Because we all know time is valuable, I expect a first meeting reward of $100.
My response went to chilly. "Nope. First meeting has a value of zero with mutual risk/reward potential, but I'll spring for the coffee. If trust is an issue I would be willing to pay per diem for the first week or two during the establishment phase. Have you ever studied game theory? Beware of the Prisoners' Dilemma, wherein not trusting results in a mutually worse outcome."
Okay, so if we don't hit it off, you won't pay me, but if we do, you will pay me the first meeting reward?
"Nope. First meeting is to mutually assess chemistry and intent to proceed. This is an opportunity to form a relationship with an aggregate value of five, maybe six figures. Demanding $100 just to show up for such a meeting is crass and shows piss-poor negotiating skills and lack of long-term thinking."
She flounced after this of course. It left me wondering, is the pool of desperate men so full of chumps that Sugar Babies can openly ask for $100 JUST TO SHOW UP FOR COFFEE? Stop feeding the beast, beta men!

"Stop feeding the beast, beta men!"
Says the guy trying to cultivate a sugar daddy/baby relationship.
Fucking classic.
Edit: I don't get the confusion here guys...you're giving a dame gifts/money/time in exchange for sexual favors and companionship.
Sugar Daddy AKA CHUMP=Guy who spends his money on a broad for sex/companionship.
Sugar Baby AKA GOLD DIGGER=Broad who only accepts gifts/money for her time and sex.
This would be feeding the beast.

yep fucking classic.. and I can't help but think that a prostitute is cheaper than these crazy whores...and a prostitute would know better than to pull this shit. I'm not sure why the poster is bothering with these silly entitled whores...except perhaps as an experiment.

"Sugar baby" = entitled female college student living in NYC wanting to pump as much money out of rich betas before hitting the wall
I imagine these are literally the worst form of prostitution imaginable. I bet she meets a lot of thirty betas for $100 coffee dates just to meet her--which they enthusiastically pay this "special snowflake." She probably has zero intentions of starting a sugar baby/sugar daddy relationship until she finds the highest bidder: Some delusional idiot who will give her thousands of dollars every month with minimal effort/sex on her part.
I needed a good laugh.

No actually they are way, way cheaper than a prostitute. And better looking, and on the pill. They are kind of like "girlfriends" or "FWB's" except they are 15 years younger and super hot.
Every time this topic comes up there are always a bunch of people who have literally zero first hand experience running their mouth. The SB/SD sites are a fucking cornucopia for an older TRP guy.

I see what you mean funny guy, but are you responding to the whole post or just the last sentence?
Escorts aren't the only type of older/younger relationship that exists, according to my own experience and that of many Red pill posters.

The whole post is dripping blue, that's what I'm saying.

Jesus christ mate, stop the abject pontificating on pop psychology and economics and just face the fact that you're even having to remotely consider paying to have coffee with some random college girl.

"For 100$ i can get half an hour with a hotter girl than u, including oral creampie."

I hung out with a prostitute for a while. Yeah, it's that fucking bad. Some suckers will pay just to talk LOL

That was your mistake. There is no sane psychology major female.

Sugar Baby type dating is a fucking blast, but you're doing it wrong.
If you are single the solution is to be good looking and in good shape and never pay any of these girls a dime and fuck them silly. It's so easy to do, they are so young and naive and most of them aren't really looking for money anyways, they just want to date someone more interesting and successful than guys their age. The ones that ask for money up front just delete/drop instantly.
If you're married and want a true young and gorgeous mistress who will lie for you if necessary and be discreet and meet almost exclusively for sex then you might have to throw her a couple bucks.
I have just used those sites to meet hot struggling actress/model chicks who are 20 years younger than me for casual dating. I pay for the drinks and whatnot but have never given one of them a dime.
It's like shooting fish in a barrel if you're reasonably successful, good looking, and charming. You may need to reassess your strategy however.

Thanks for the helpful addition. I was hoping to hear from men with actual experience in this area, along with the inevitable peanut gallery.
I've already picked up a 22yo Neurology major as a plate; she's never had me pay for so much as a cup of coffee, but is so sheltered she can hardly get time away from her family to be together. So abundance mentality, I'm keeping the rods baited and in the water; this sugar baby bit yesterday and was such a stark contrast to my first young plate.
