I believe that most of the reason why most guys are still plugged in is because they really don't want to face the reality of unplugging.

It's happening everywhere. Even on the AnCap sub, I feel like half of one's time is spent fending off socialists and marxists that came to stir shit up. The Libertarian sub is almost a lost cause. Most subs that deal with any type of highly visible topic are just completely overrun with SJWs, and people that otherwise generally believe in humans not being responsible for their own actions. It's quite depressing. I stick to the places where there's no real occurrence for that, like in some of the better tech-focused or auto-focused subs. And here, of course. I know I won't find that shit here.

Having worked a few high-end, private, Bachelorette/Hen parties providing Audio/Visual equipment and tech support, I have seen much worse. The most disturbing thing I saw was not the the unbridled promiscuity of the bride to be and (the often married) bridesmaids, it was their displays of Pure Savagery that sickened me the most. I witnessed a knock-down, drag-out fist fight between the blushing bride and her maid of honor over who got to service one of the male strippers; the bride to be won with a knock-out punch and then proceeded to go down on the stripper. At another event, I watched 6 women attack and assault a stripper to the point that the bouncers had to break it up and the male stripper was taken away on a stretcher. It was like watching 6 barnyard hens going for the same worm all at once. After that one, any illusions I might have had left about women were erased. I also stopped working those type of events

If you read into the comments, these male strippers do not have bodyguards most of the time either, and the female ones probably almost always do. The women who hire these guys get handsy and make some of them uncomfortable, whereas if it were reversed with a female stripper, the attacker would be beat the fuck down and probably slapped with attempted rape.

It's the man's role to set boundaries. Generally women hate to make decisions. People (male and female) let their emotions make decisions unless they take the pill.
She is likely okay with you going to strip clubs because you're a man and in control of yourself, you have personal boundaries you will not cross. She might go to one and break her rules because she's letting emotions run her wheel.
