One of the big laments over at r/short is, not surprisingly, sex and dating. I'm a little on the short side myself and game and RP understanding has helped in what was a pretty miserable situation before. I'm not a RP evangelist but I thought I'd maybe help out a few of my short brothers and urge them to at least consider reading up on RP a little and make a decision for themselves. I pointed them to Rational Male and basically said "see what you think".
It did not go well. White knights came out of the woodwork. Of course the old lie "RP men think they are entitled to women's bodies" was trotted out. I was compared to Eliot Rodgers and when I demonstrated that Rodgers thinking was more bluepill, suddenly talk of Rodger was off limits (as per the mods).
I made it clear from the beginning I was not advocating men become RP only that they check it out for themselves. The amount of effort and emotional investment made just to shame men out of making an informed decision was amazing.
They pulled the thread, but maybe a few guys will be curious and check the whole thing out. Many on here will say I shouldn't be wasting my time, but it was worth it as a learning experience.
30303030303030 10y ago
I remember one topic linked here from /r/short, by a woman telling them she's "ready to face her demons", she never liked short guys but will try to date them now.
She was 31.
[deleted] 10y ago
Wow hehe
[deleted] 10y ago
Her appearance rotted like milk and she's going where the sexual market is placing her no doubt. Why would she "face her demons" when she could be with an adonis?
moroi 10y ago
I wonder what she could've hit...
[deleted] 10y ago
[deleted]
rpkarma 10y ago
Well, I wouldn't rule her hitting men out either, to be honest. Those old battleaxes can get pretty violent when they realise how much they despise their beta.
vengefully_yours 10y ago
Fuck her desperate and entitled ass. I never liked old have, but I'm not going to start now. Since she can't get tall men anymore, she will try us under 6' men? I'm not that thirsty, I have plenty to drink from, no need for a shallow puddle.
[deleted] 10y ago
unfortunately there are enough beta men trained by reddit and huffington post to marry up that beautiful and unique snowflake
vengefully_yours 10y ago
They are welcome to her. When she can't find 'a good man' or divorces the beta sap who marries her, she can find fulfillment feeding cats.
VegasHostTre 10y ago
Im 5'5 and r/short is nothing but bullshit about how "im short so women won't date me". Its pathetic. And im sure all those 5'Betas probably threw their names in the hat for a chance at a vagina that probably looks like an Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich.
AIchemyst 10y ago
Interesting, over in /r/tall we just complain about "low" shower heads and non-fitting clothing.
FloranHunter 10y ago
Both of which can be almost completely offset by making more money on average than short men.
Gavlan_Wheel 10y ago
That might be because height is correlated with intelligence.
FloranHunter 10y ago
Also with health.
Hereletmegooglethat 10y ago
For real? Isn't the stereotype that jocks are brainless?
Gavlan_Wheel 10y ago

My most vicious critic was a 6'1" gay guy!
Because of course, he knows exactly what dating is like for a short straight guy, right?

AIchemyst 10y ago
I think you may have missed the point of the /r/short rant.
OsoFeo 10y ago
Can confirm.
VZPurp 10y ago
The internet has a way of amplifying insecurity. You're too short! Your dick is tiny! You're ugly!
For fuck's sake, log off and go outside.
jerryandjerrysizzler 10y ago
As a short guy, I would never join r/short it just seems depressing and why rant about something you can't control. Avoid too much of the victim mindset.
shutayooface 10y ago
I agree. I joined to post that particular thread.
vengefully_yours 10y ago
Its the last place I want to go. Fuck that shit, you can't change it, but there are things you can. Bitching about shit you can't change is useless. Hell if a female tells me upfront I am not tall enough, I know she is too shallow anyway. Its a nice litmus test to not waste time. Later bitch. This 5'7" chick loves to fuck me, so does that 5'4" one next to her. Chase the tall guys, I don't care.
IllimitableMan 10y ago
It is one of the many competing victim narratives, although unlike the other victim narratives it doesn't get its own political power card. EG: you can make fun of small people and not get shamed for it. It's got nothing on the racism, homosexuality or misogyny power plays. There's no ideology formed around it like there is with LGBT, racism/ethnic relations and feminism/patriarchy.
a_tes_soulhaits 10y ago
More because nobody was systematically KILLED for being short. Yeah it sucks but nobody is going to leave your body in a ditch because your under 5'5.
trias_e 10y ago
...And in your rebuttal, people were systematically KILLED for...what?
a_tes_soulhaits 10y ago
Being gay, being black, being a Jew, being disabled. Need anything else spelled out for you?
ocho-muerte 10y ago
Women were systematically killed for being fat...
trias_e 10y ago
People have been systematically killed for many, many things. Your point is?
trias_e 10y ago
The reason it doesn't work as a victim narrative is because it's not considered a bad thing for women. Something that is a problem for men simply has no place in the narrative. Things that women have control over (weight) have more valid victim-hood status than things that men have no control over (height).
jerryandjerrysizzler 10y ago
Absolutely, and it's still very stigmatized.
HalfPastTuna 10y ago
"RP men think they are entitled to women's bodies" this makes no sense to me as about 50% of the material here is about working hard as fuck to raise your SMV
bradyo2 10y ago
FTFY
shutayooface 10y ago
It's like saying Marxism is in favor of the profit motive.
I think what often happens is that people lump everything they don't like together and just call it "RP".
AngraMainyuu 10y ago
Well we got lumped into the PUA crowd somehow, which has a pretty bad reputation probably due to the commercialism and money hungry gurus involved, but anyway the worst thing about the PUA scene are all the sexually deprived betas looking for a magic cure to their sex life. These guys aren't all bad, but there's enough chumps and desperate nice guys to give the whole thing a foul odor.
[deleted] 10y ago
I wouldn't put down a beta who is looking into PUA out of hand. At least they are looking to improve. Yes a lot of the pickup sales make it look like a quick cure, which makes sense because alphas, already with high SMV, make it look so fucking easy. If a beta tries what of these gurus says, finds that it does not work, at least to the extent they want it to, and move on to find further improvement, you may no longer have a beta on your hands.
GoatwithHorns 10y ago
I'm short and confidently one of the biggest losers to ever have grazed this subreddit. But damn has the red pill changed my life big-time. And even if I would for some reason not be successful with women and have to resort to prostitutes? I will still have self respect, mannerisms and behaviour that shot my self respect but furthermore I won't be played for a sap by manipulative, dishonest women.
Isn't that worth something? Even if you don't score some poosi? Methinks so. I've made a turn in my life to chew bubble gum and kick arse.
DevilishRogue 10y ago
I was on that thread and upvoted your sensible arguments, but the problem was you. You used an approach that didn't work as it wasn't suitable for the audience. None of them knew what The Red Pill really is, all they knew is that it must be bad because people say nasty things about it. They weren't willing or able to listen, nor to consider the possibility that The Red Pill isn't what they think it is. When you are dealing with the close-minded you need to use different approaches to obtain success than you would with the open-minded.
Perhaps a debate about some of the concepts surrounding women seeking status and confidence projecting status would have been a better place to start than showing your cards right at the start? Once you've won the argument, then is the time to reveal the cards. Revealing them too early meant that they closed down the debate before the argument could be had. Lesson learned and a good example of how Red Pill concepts sometimes apply more widely than to just the sexual marketplace. Still, kudos to you for trying to help out some people who clearly seriously need help.
shutayooface 10y ago
I remember you from that thread. You made some very good points.
I think you are right, I went in too gangbusters when being subtle would have worked better. I'll remember that for future situations.
DevilishRogue 10y ago
The mods were clearly blue pill if they deleted the thread, so use an alt acct if you decide to try again to avoid risk if banning.

/r/fatlogic
It isn't EXPLICITLY about women, but I have yet to see a male fat logician mentioned (likely because they are rare; fat men must deal with being fat, fat women must rationalize the pounds away).
redpillschool Admin 10y ago
The term "entitled" is just another thought terminating cliche. It presupposes to know what's in the hearts of others and then criticizes them for it. Much like misogyny, only those experiencing such preferences or emotions are at liberty to decide if they would describe themselves that way. It is not up to others to know if I hate women or if I feel entitled to anything. If I do, that's for me to say, and nobody else.
So anybody making that charge is logically wrong and is doing so for another reason. Power talk.
circlhat 10y ago
Notice how anyone can post a pro female sub that actually demonizes men and it will be allowed, but you put men in a direction that will actually help them and you are shut down.
[deleted] 10y ago
[deleted]
circlhat 10y ago
If you are a member of SRS you won't get banned from most subs, if you are a member of TRP you will be banned just for that.
If you mention TRP you will be banned, if you mention SRS you won't be banned. In fact if people see you visited the sub you can be banned
The hate against TRP proves there is a lot of men hate out there. TRP doesn't promote male or female hate, but we only address male hate
tai376 10y ago
Especially because this fucker Rodger. For the next 6 months you bring up anything related to manprovement and all intelligent discourse is dismissed by "But le psychopath killer, you're just like him!!" Fuck. It really is better to just take the information for yourself and not share it.
Mikesapien 10y ago
He claimed to be god and wanted to end all sex.
If that's RP, I'll eat my computer with salt and pepper.
SE17 10y ago
I've said this before. Don't try to help people who don't want help. You're just wasting your time and in for a lot of frustration.
Offer hints and tips to gauge their interest first. If they want help they'll come to you for more.
Think about who's doing the work in this exchange of knowledge. It shouldn't be the person who is giving free information, it should be the person receiving.
I don't help anyone until they beg for help and I am 100% sure they're not going to waste my time.
It sucks but that's the way of the world.
[deleted] 10y ago
its kind of sad that while the bodies were still warm, people immediately abused the situation from a political advantage. not surprising but tacky and sad. More men than woman died by his hands by the way. He also called for genocide on all men...
FLFTW16 10y ago
I learned this early on too, but my downfall is that I love to pass on useful information. I have to constantly be reminded not to talk about TRP. Luckily any time I even mention TRP some mangina will pop up to remind me to keep it to myself. Ahh, those good old trusty manginas. Gotta love 'em.

Mikesapien 10y ago
As I understand it, that's also the second rule.
SilverWolfeBlade 10y ago
If it's your first day on the sub... you gotta post.
I_can_get_you_off 10y ago
Absolutely, you fuckers never should've let me in here.
circlhat 10y ago
Agreed, its even more than that, you can't even bring up the fact that being too nice is a real thing. You will just get down voted or banned, in reality nice guys are cowards and push overs and avoid confrontation and that's what turns females off.
FloranHunter 10y ago
I use the word "supplicating" even though "too nice" is functionally identical. Gotta avoid those cached thoughts.
HitlersCow 10y ago
Yes, I've had a lot of success with that verbiage. I think it more accurately describes your typical "nice guy" anyway.
Nice=pleasant and friendly (pretty hard to see this as bad...)
Supplicating=too pleasing, ass-kissing, and generally low self esteem
Just gotta control the language.
Gorgonzola54 10y ago
Unfortunately I think we might be looking at a little longer than 6 months...
[deleted] 10y ago
Most of the SJW's on twitter don't even know the cunt's name, but yeah it will be 2015 before this shit has calmed down after that don't expect too much out of them.
In the meantime press them with the facts; he killed 6 people on the shooting spree and 3 before that, a grand total of two were women the seven others men, he hated men that were having sex more than he hated the women who denied him. He went to PUA sites and fitness boards and never took any of their advice only rambled on about how he was confused and resentful about his lack of sex.
[deleted] 10y ago
Pretty sure there were only 7 deaths btw
[deleted] 10y ago
The news initially reported 7 fatally shot, that turned out to be 6 and he killed his 2 roommates and 1 of their friends by slitting their throats and stabbing them repeatedly. 3 dead men in his apartment + 4 men he shot and killed +2 girls he shot and killed = 9 dead.
The news doesn't particularly care about the body count only that he did this out of anger towards women, discounting the fact that he was mentally unstable and intentionally killed more men because he hated them for the same reasons he hate women.
[deleted] 10y ago
Ok it's great that you think that but only 7 people died. You're wrong and spreading wrong information

"Strange" black phillip fan?
[deleted] 10y ago
you seriously though that would go over well there? On the front page is a post titled "How does feminism affect the short man" and the top comment talks about the "myth of masculinity".
shutayooface 10y ago
Trying to shake up the mindset a little. Maybe a few guys saw it before it was deleted and it might cause them to question a few things. You never know.
GenericHusband 10y ago
The first time I clicked on a link to this subreddit, I was in the comment section of one of the main subreddits. TRP was mentioned in the classic "They hate women and loserbetapussyfaggot misygygngyies!!"
Curiosity got the better of me, I briefly looked through some article titles, lurked for about a week and dove into the sidebar headfirst. Maybe some poor sap did the same.
Rooibosisboss 10y ago
what about r/notsupershortortallslightlybelowaverage
it's weird being around 5'8-5'9ish maybe slightly more or less depending on footwear.
It gets to me occasionally now but used to so much more before TRP. It just seems with heels and even without heels women are getting taller and taller and men shorter and shorter. Probably the food and water with all those chemicals, but who knows maybe its just in my head.
chill_geddy 10y ago
Yea dude I too tred the purgatory that is the 5'9 range I've noticed when I'm out partying and what not I see a good number of girls that are in the 6 ft range with heels on
[deleted] 10y ago
[deleted]
thredditsowaway 10y ago
Wow I was just thinking that the other day. Every time I see a new generation of 18-19 year olds show up for school in the fall the girls seem way taller and the guys way shorter. The girls who list their height (because they're very tall) on Tinder seem to be concentrated in the 18-22 category... the tiny ones are largely 23+.
I have a theory that anything above 5'10 is an advantage, and below 5'7 is a disadvantage, but in between is neither. We just need to focus on creating other advantages such as fitness, game, presentation. Doing the same things as a taller guy would be even better, but at least our height isn't a huge penalty except with "tallish" girls.
goemon45 10y ago
Why does reddit always say we promote rape?
AngraMainyuu 10y ago
Because when you're successful people always say you must be cheating the rules somehow. In this case we must be all be rapists if we're getting more pussy than them.
Murmaider 10y ago
Reddit ironically has a hate complex. They hate on others success.
Short-Guy 10y ago
Being only 5 feet tall, I though that r/short would have other guys around my height who were successful. Instead, I got mostly trolls and bluepill advice. I found TheRedPill to be more informative
widec 10y ago
The subreddit is funny to look at whenever a short girl complains about her relationship problems. They will all tell her she doesn't know what it's like being short and a guy at the same time.
You probably shouldn't be be trying to spread anything RP related to random people. It's an almost guaranteed poor reaction on this site, better off letting them find it themselves.
FinnianWhitefir 10y ago
Can't fight the tide. When I was new on here, I linked it a couple times to some men who really needed it from places like SocialAnxiety. It didn't go terribly, but I always got a couple of "No, don't go there" comments.
This place is really vilified, it's really curious as few know what it is. Now I've changed to just recommending Models and No More Mr Nice Guy. If the guy replies or wants more info, sometimes I'll PM Book of Pook, stuff from the Required Reading here, or just a link here.
Good on you for trying to help people, this place is really eye-opening and helpful for a ton of us and we obviously think more men should know it, but we've got to spread the info surreptitiously.
[deleted] 10y ago
Although I'm just average height in my country, blaming height your woes with women is a load of bullshit.
Most of the best naturals that I know are under 5'9. These are guys that play multiple instruments, fly planes, are skilled in MMA and are otherwise high value men in a lot of ways.
If you're high value enough, height doesn't matter. You can say the same about a lot of other things too.
[deleted] 10y ago
Thank you. I'm 5'4 and I'm sick and fucking tired of the so called "short" men complaining about their height. I literally can name on one hand the amount of guys that are as short as me. Guess what? It doesn't matter. I compensate in other ways.
[deleted] 10y ago
Hell, I was even considered short in my High School (I was 5'8) years. I still had girls checking me out and was cool with all the popular kids. But I was blue pill as fuck back then, so those opportunities were wasted. I thankfully learned about game halfway into college and grew 2 inches, so there's that.
shortcurse 10y ago
they are deadset morons, i like how their arguments are its all rape and drugging FAQS, please link me to one thread on trp that actually has guides or promotes any of that stuff.

WTF7777777 10y ago
Experience is something you gain the moment after you need it. Females have a propensity to value the tall male. Even if he's a dork. No offense to you dorks out there. But the Fonzi character from Happy Days is pure fiction. So I say it is what it is. Don't waste your time in the US, move to Asia where the short guy either fits right in or seems tall over there. Otherwise from my experience whether you have a girl or not, ultimately they'll leave you for the tall guy. Divorce court sucks. It is what it is. We males have our ideal female in mind as well. Right? So accept it. It's evolutionary. Just remember the smallest of mammals survived the ice ages, meteor strikes and famines.
moroi 10y ago
Reminds me: the strongest dog fucks ...but second mouse gets the cheese
MasterHordorBaggins 10y ago
A move to Asian guy. Ugh. Seriously every can't and won't move to asia. Also not everyone is Caucasian and will do well there. Some don't have the resources or ability to handle the expat lifestyle. Move to Asian is a limited solution for some, not a panacea for all.
shutayooface 10y ago
It's more a speedbump than a roadblock. I've won out over taller guys on a number of occasions.
WTF7777777 10y ago
Excellent. Keep playin playa! Just remember. 6 in 10 marriages fail. Let the tall guys have'm.
Redpiller456 10y ago
5'9'' male here. The same has been true for me. I've won out over taller guys on plenty of occasions, particularly bars and clubs.
Height is an advantage, I won't deny it. But plenty of taller guys will admit that they flopped with women when their game was slipping.
Being taller than most girls is generally all you need. Sure, I'd love to be a bit taller. But you just can't do much about it. Since I've treated it that way, I've never had a problem with picking up women.
Being tall doesn't automatically make you a pussy magnet, like "WTF" above suggested. Plenty of tall guys out there that don't take care of their body, have shitty game, and don't have an attractive face.
hamstercide 10y ago
I don't see what's wrong with the Elliot Rodgers comparison. If you read "Michael's Story" in the sidebar it's very similar to what Rodgers was saying and writing about.
goemon45 10y ago
I just saw your /r/short post through your history, holy shit man.
[deleted] 10y ago
I feel bad for short men. Being tall is a true privilege.
theozoph 10y ago
6'1" buys you, maybe, 1 second of goodwill. Lack of game, bad shape, unattractive face will send you to Rejection Land in a second, even if you're tall.
In my blue pill days, I dealt with a lot of rejection despite height and proper grooming. It's really not a silver bullet.
Plus, you deal with aggressiveness from shorter men, physical fear from women, exasperated sighs in cramped situations, feelings of clumsiness in crowed venues... it's not all it's cranked up to be when you're just a beta. Before TRP, it used to cause me a lot of self-consciousness.
You need to use height to your advantage, and that takes confidence and game.
