TRP actually might be saving the world from the wrath of many more incels.
I'd imagine if most of the shooters found TRP instead of 4ch /r9k/ or 8ch /pol/ they wouldnt have snapped.
Yakatonker 4y ago
Feminism is a government sponsored, government funded, CIA run population control program. Like any propaganda the government is trying to deflect obvious criticism of its activities. The Atlantic which is an extension of the real government is simply spinning its bullshit for the unwashed masses who still buy into a "normative" world view.
Nicolas0631 4y ago
Women act differently but are not better if you ask me. This is just that men are more likely to act because of their inner drive be it for the best or the worst.

There they go with their gaslighting and gatekeeping again.
Realistically, women’s suffrage was the downfall of the western world. It’s no coincidence that the world wars shortly followed.

Worst idea I've ever heard
DeChef2 4y ago
No. WWI was completely about European power lusting after land they wanted but another country couldn’t have.
WWII basically happened cuz we screwed Germany in the Treaty of Versailles. And cuz certain totalitarian leaders wanted to conquer more land.
Besides. WWI ended in 1918.
The 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920.
largepaycheckaddict 4y ago
I was talking about women’s suffrage in the west in general.. beyond the us.
DeChef2 4y ago
Still wrong. Only women in Norway, Finland, and Australia had the right to vote before WWI.
largepaycheckaddict 4y ago
Exactly, that was the beginning.
DeChef2 4y ago
Yeah. So women’s suffrage couldn’t have caused WWI. Those countries weren’t the antagonists.
This shouldn’t be hard.
INNASKILLZ2K18 4y ago
Jesus. The level of retardedness in the original article is astounding.
Such unashamed double standards. 'We didn't make it about gender, the shooters did'.
Let's just ignore that they're writing an article explicitly drawing attention to the shooter's gender.
It reminds me of some 1930's racial propoganda. 'We didn't make it about blacks. Black did'....but we're gonna make it all about blacks.
Grow up. Not a trace of how complex trauma, family upbringing, abuse, emotional dysfunction, neglect or an entire range of things can contribute.
This is bullshit. Using one issue to advance their own.
Gender may have some contributing factor, albeit very small, but so does a vast array of other things.
DiSysmic 4y ago
Back then, if you didn't preach for equality of wealth like 80% of the population, you were a moron. Communism happened, and guess what: millions of people died in the name of utopia.
There's no point in arguing with preachers of an absolute ideal. Only time can disprove their beliefs.
calcul8rallig8r 4y ago
Woman make horrible leaders and mass shooters are virgin weebs. Moreover geopolicitcs is extra retarted and is the reason why aliens still havent visited
pm_me_tangibles 4y ago
> only dangerous and insane people oppose feminism
kind of reminds you of totalitarian extremist religious people doesn't it? *either you agree with me or you are pure evil*
Protocol_Apollo 4y ago
This kind of thinking is incredibly retarded.
If you want to destroy an idea, you have to do it through discourse.
This thinking makes your opposition go underground and then nobody knows who, where and how many the “enemy is”
Same thing happened with trump. Everyone tried to delegitimise anyone who liked/wanted to vote for him by calling them racists, bigots etc.
Those people then kept their mouth shut until they came to the voting booths where they could say how they felt privately through a vote.
Cue the shock when half the country voted for him
pm_me_tangibles 4y ago
They inherited the fruits of a system they didn’t build. They see all the bad of the system (a system which is infinitely better than being without the system) but they take for granted all the good. They don’t even see the good. They are ungrateful and stunningly entitled.
Making Western civilisation took incredible effort and sacrifice. They just want the spoils.
They are entitled and little in their thinking. They can never make anything. Could you even imagine an island civilisation of feminists??
foxhound525 4y ago
The irony is that trump got to where he is by creating his own cult of crazies. Read the section in 48 Laws of Power about creating a cult and it's basically a description of what he did, including the ol' scapegoating the 'other' and pretending to be like your cultists (oooh I'm not part of the elite, I'm just like you except I'm a billionaire and the most obvious part of the 'elite' to have ever been president). Vague substance-less catchphrases harkening back to the past (which in reality was even worse in america) and substance-less speech. The dude is like a propaganda tape recorder stuck on loop. Doesn't even try to hide the blindingly obvious constant manipulation of his voter base! The dude is one of the dumbest people on earth (e.g. windfarms cause cancer?! LOL) but his raving cultists lap up his claims of being a genius and other stuck-on-repeat self aggrandisement bollocks that he spews to avoid saying anything meaningful. And the list goes on and on and on.
FuzzyBeanDip 4y ago
Retard alert.
The dumbass thinks Trump controls everything but is dumb as shit.
Classic example of not respecting your enemy.

Yes, sure dude. He's so dumb he was the head of a top tv show, was in multiple movies, and was elected president. Dumbest people on earth, sure.

Yes, we are dangerous. To them and their totalitarian feminist religion of course.
pm_me_tangibles 4y ago
Just by being reasonable and putting fair interest first we are dangerous to feminism and every other ideology that can only exist by manipulation, extortion, threats and shaming.

Reminds me of the book animal farm.

Most mass shootings are suicides.
Not only from Betas. A lot of mass shooters are alt-right but there was an ultra feminist trump-hater SJW too. Media seems to forget about that one.
Suicides are such a epidemic that the Air force is seriously looking into it a it's the number one killer of armed forces in the world.
Until the society starts looking at men as persons and not like second-class citizens, and the feminism and crazy social scoring of social networks comes to an end, suicides will increase, and when men suicide they sometimes take people with them to hell.

>The 28-year-old man awaiting trial over the Christchurch massacre wrote a self-justifying screed titled “The Great Replacement.” It begins: “It’s the birthrates. It’s the birthrates. It’s the birthrates.”
But he's not wrong in this. There's a reason Christians and Jewish cult mandate have as many kids as you can. In 100 years you can completely replace the population of a country.
CainPrice 4y ago
You can't expect too much logic from opinion-pieces.
Here's the prevailing logic:
99% of mass shooters are men.
Why are these men killing people?
Because they're men. Didn't you read the line above? 99% of mass shooters are men.
If you want to solve mass shooting, get rid of men. Easy peasy.
Caper67 4y ago
Women aren't mass shooting because they're too busy drowning their children in bath tubs.
largepaycheckaddict 4y ago
This is how you lower birth rates in western society. Women read this crap and eat it up then think they’re doing the world a favor by refusing to marry and killing their babies. But realistically, they’re creating more of a psycho/social strain on society and thus enabling more of these gone postal mass killings to take place- the cycle repeats. This is a psyop brought to you by “gods chosen people” and the media blitz.
Mass killings are nothing more than a symptom of a deranged sick sad broken society.
MyNameIsSaifa 4y ago
You've gone a bit far off the deep end there goy
CainPrice 4y ago
It's a hopeless situation for women because 99% of shooters are men and 99% of men are shooters literally -are- the same thing.
Men are stronger than women. Always have been, always will be, at least until someone invents some dystopian genetic engineering process to make men weaker.
That means that even though 99.99999 percent of men are good people who don't hurt women, any one man could. He's strong enough to. Which means it only takes one man who decides to say "fuck it all" to take a woman's power away, and today she becomes a rape victim, gets robbed, gets beaten up, or gets murdered.
Every single minute of every single day, women are helpless, powerless, and completely dependent on men choosing to behave well and not use their superior strength. It's maddening for them to feel so powerless all the time. They're angry. Helpless. Lashing out.
And there's no solution. It doesn't matter how many rights women are given or how many rights are taken away from men or how much education and social engineering they do. Men will always be stronger, and it will always take just one man who's not playing along to turn a woman into a rape victim. There's no win condition for feminism. No matter what they do, it will never feel like enough. They'll still feel helpless and powerless. They'll always want more. The only possible win condition for them is the end of men. Locking us all up in camps.
penorgold 4y ago
And if you disagree with this completely logical argument you must be sexist.
CainPrice 4y ago
It's woman math. Statistics are commutative.
99% of mass shooters are men is the same thing as 99% of men are mass shooters.
Dane50 4y ago
It’s “stripper” math. FIFY.
INNASKILLZ2K18 4y ago
Sad thing is, that's how it will be interpreted.
Same as all the toxic masculinity arguments.
'All toxic guys are naturally masculine. Therefore, all men are toxicly masculine. If you display any masculine traits, you're toxic'
Or some shit like that. Same as saying 'Most animals that have bitten children are dogs. Therefore most dogs bite children'.
Then you're walking your dog somewhere and he barks at someone - 'OMG, there is that child biting bastard. Put him down'!
Then an entire species of dogs internalize guilt, shame, believe barking, being dominant, having hair and a tail is wrong and start believing it'll be honourable and respected to act like cats.
Fucked up the narrative that happens to many men.
CainPrice 4y ago
That's actually one of their deepest hopes.
If they promote the idea that 99% of evil people are men, therefore there is something inherently wrong with men, they hope that good men will feel guilty about their share of the evil in men. Some kind of inborn, inherent share of male guilt, just for being born with a penis. As though every man is just a little bit responsible for the evil actions of a small number of messed up people, because he was born male.
That's the impetus behind the whole men need to do better, men need to be taught to do or not do things, men need to hold each other accountable, masculinity is toxic, etc. push. It's the idea that all men are born with an inherited share of inherent male guilt for being part of an evil gender.
INNASKILLZ2K18 4y ago
Yes, it's horrible.
I realise we're not going over any new ground, but the extent of it is mind-blowing.
I opened the newspaper today and saw another article beginning with 'male violence has claimed another life'.
I mean, really? What purpose does it serve to highlight the male aspect?
The whole thing is so fucking insane. 'Toxic masculinity'? There is nothing toxic about masculinity. The two words shouldn't be side by side.
A read a great article about the 'impotent healer's. How men have internalized that their masculinity is evil and hurtful. Shit down their masculine urges and become impotent.
They also believe the feminine has been hurt, wounded and needs healing.
A generation of men who are impotent and trying to rescue everyone.
What happens? 'Oh yeah, sorry. That was all bullshit, you lose'.
It's crazy to realise how much needless guilt guys carry. Over a tiny tiny population of men, who are more affected by complex trauma bad childhoods, neglect and abuse than 'masculinity'.
Rant over. Sometimes I remember how fucked up the illusion is

Honestly, stop paying attention to feminism.
We all know how much women love their attention.
Feminism is no different.

I actually sort of agree with what the Atlantic is saying, you're Right-minded if you support feminism, as in, you're Right-wing... politics in America is one giant circle, if you go Left far enough, you end up on the Right, and that's a pretty dangerous place to be.
What I'm trying to say is, The Atlantic is, correctly, claiming Feminism is the same thing as Alt-Right Neonazis.
[deleted]
Diablo-D3 4y ago
I'm not sure whats worse, the fact you didn't pick up on the obvious satire, or the fact that you're apparently defending feminism (?!) by claiming I'm a leftist apologist because I called them out for being indistinguishable from the alt-right.
To make it more obvious: No, The Atlantic is not actually claiming Feminism is part of the alt-right, as that is a large part of their readership, and they are doomed to pander to that rather vocal segment.
DeChef2 4y ago
If you were going for satire you did it wrong. You have to go all in.
But in you original reply, you say,
That is not how you go about making satire.
Project_Zero_Betas 4y ago
It's not so much that it's a giant circle, but that there's more than a single left-right continuum, there's a second axis which measures legislation based on libertarian/authoritative descriptions as well as the more well-known left/right wrt economic policy.
Diablo-D3 4y ago
I am aware, however, political discourse in America doesn't really understand that (at least, with most average Americans), and that there are also no real good examples of successful governments (as in, no Communists) that embody "left-wing authoritarianism", although certainly there are individual groups that embody that.
So, in lieu of a more nuanced public discourse, the Horseshoe theory seems to fit well enough.
Project_Zero_Betas 4y ago
Gotcha, majored in polisci so I just like discussing the nitty-gritty of it :-)
Gnosiis_ 4y ago
Wow what a mess. Her "opinion" piece doesn't tie in the manosphere at all except to say "Stacy" and "Chad".
Only insane people oppose feminism? That horse is so high I'm breaking my neck to look up.
Feminism isn't a powerful force in our society? Then I guess her claim that all right-minded people support feminism must be bologna.
Feminists are presumed to influence all government decisions, even though women are still underrepresented at every level of elected office? I guess you need to be a woman to support feminism, and hold positions of power to get what you want. Societal influences can be just as powerful.
You know what I was gonna say more but I don't have the energy to go through this nonsense again.
Lateralanouncer 4y ago
As expected. When the social decline hits hard men will be to blame.
