You have to look at the options they have available. The average university is 65% women, 35% men, nearly 2:1. Not every guy that goes to university is going to be a Chad. Bear in mind that if the average guy at university is only average, that's what the women have to compete for.

I would say that it is worth remembering that you as a man rate women's value mostly by their genetic value, healthy and fertility -which loosely translates into how hard they make your dick. For women it is not as simple as how wet a man could make her pussy and even that is not as simple as his genetic value, health and fertility.
For sure some will fit into the calculating bitch who wants a trustworthy "college boyfriend" as a place keeper. She would trade him in if a better offer turned up but really she is not looking for someone she has to put much effort into -not the final guy she wants to marry but someone but who be there reliably for her to give her attention and run errands even when her contribution is only "I turn up and I put out when I want to". So the candidate would need to be both better and try as hard and be as loyal too. That is a fairly hard find. Some of these girls will cheat too for tingles if the simp is simpy enough to let them off or if they are bored of him and want to trade him in anyway.
But there will also be some who genuinely do not see everything as a trade of looks for looks or even looks for status and wealth and looks. Its not one rule. The only rule is that she will be getting enough of what she wants while she stays in the relationship. So never say "Why is that against the laws of nature?" Its never so.
