So I’ve (28yo) been running a relatively new issue lately. Ended my LTR 4 months ago and already have a new roster of 4 girls all HB7-HB9 (2 actual models). Been hitting the dating apps hard but also going out at night and to some dating events (which are a joke btw only HB5/7s and bunch of loser guys). What I’ve noticed though, is that there is a large pool of women, mainly HB6-7s that give me IOIs but only want to use my attention to validate their ego’s. In other words, if I try to escalate anything beyond a kiss they auto-reject me.
My working theory is that (and I’m looking for people to validate this) these girls are aware of my SMV and quickly determine based on my arrogant/dgaf attitude that I’m aware of my SMV as well and auto-reject me because they think I’ll just ONS and ghost. (Probably true)
Meanwhile with hot girls (HB8+) I barely have to even try. Just hold frame, banter, crack some jokes and they’re DTF/become plates. Sidenote: I’m 6ft3 200lbs lean, traditionally good-looking etc. Worked hard to maximize my genetic potential and atp just blow every guy out of the water wherever I go.
Also noticed that I really must tone down/minimize my teasing (which sucks because I love that shit) with newer girls. Because they get super awkward/defensive really quick saying I’m ridiculing them/have no respect. (True) So then I tone it way down until they know me better.
However, I think maybe I’m just coping that my game is weak? As I’ve read many stories here about people with super high lay counts and how many girls are fine with ONS etc. So I’m trying to reconcile that with my own current experience. Almost wondering if it's better to be a 7/10 looks with 10/10 game for casual sex vs being a 10/10 looks with 7/10 game guy.
Do I tone down the arrogance and pretend to be a bit more sheepish/'nice' and give girls more sense of control/security? That feels super gay to me and I’m thinking there must be another way but I can’t figure it out. Just feels to me like these girls are super hesitant to sleep with me as they see they have 0 leverage over me and it feels scary to them to surrender security/control to that degree but that’s just my hunch.

Frequently, the rejection has nothing to do with you.
1) women are ruled by their hormones, and many of them, when not ovulating, just aren't receptive.
2) she might have a boyfriend to whom she's actually loyal (at least for now).
3) she might just not be in the mood.
You'll never know the real reason, so stop caring. One rejects you? So what. Try a different one.

You're probably right that anyone with enough night game has made this observation, I guess that my error in thinking was that these one night stand fodder girls would easily go home with you if you are 2-3 points above their SMV. But it seems that reality is more counterintuitive.
You're right about ego tripping and lack of self prioritization, tnx for the reminder. Ts was kinda eating away at me as it's very weird to have 8/10s be very eager to get plated by you and a 6 to reject you for ONS. I guess I've just outgrown the minor leagues and must increase my standards accordingly.

I was thinking a bit more about our discussion & also reading some posts on the main site regarding women having their own plates/roster/backups, dating in parallel and how you must expect this as a man. (Or is this entirely different from ONS?)
It's your view then that these women (especially the ones who participate in this behavior long-term) are the (broken) minority? So most women are just serial monogamists/branch swingers?
Also having a hard time grasping how this translates to women having hookups while travelling. My ex told me about multiple flings she had while abroad in AUS for ~4 months of which 2 she thought had 'long-term potential' (she was retardedly naive/low self-respect which is why I ejected eventually) but are women truly so stupid to believe these guys will stick around?
I just find that so hard to believe. The amount of hamstering must be off the charts. Especially after being burned multiple times (she had 20+ body count at 23). Not humble bragging.
Just intellectual curiosity wondering what these girls are thinking and if maybe some of you had a clue. Also, sometimes HB7 is the best there is in a given venue and then it does suck they are only luke warm.
Of course not everyone will like you, what is/was confusing me is that I had this idea in my head that if you are, say a 9/10 as a man, that you should be able to pick any HB6 you want and she'll go home with you. And my experience lately has been such that I'm almost starting to think that I'd have more success with those girls had I been 7/10 instead. Which is counterintuitive and I've never seen a post about this mechanic.
