I think its totally reasonable to request a yes or no answer closer to the time. She made the request of a favour and and you made an offer. Its not reasonable to leave your favour hanging as an option. She is not doing you a favour getting on your bike remember that. You are offering her the favour she requested. Don't be angry but confidently seek clarity, you can always then say "We can find a better time that suits us both if you like, tell me what sort of ride you are most interested in?"
