I'm 25 and I'm going solely because it's simply the best career path for me at the moment. I know a lot in regards to healthcare and previous work experience and it's only a 2/3 year program that pays very well.
The only problem is I can't help but feel feminine/beta when the What do you do or what are you going to school for question comes up. And I have to answer "Nurse" lol. Maybe I'm just over thinking it but what say you guys?

RN here who found /r/trp long after swallowing /trp.
Live in a Midwestern state capital. Pulling in over $1000 each week at 25. My unit consists of 25 women and 5 men, and I'm the only straight, unwed male under 40. I'm typically running two units on nights (7p-7a) as charge nurse. I can't count the amount of nurses and technicians I have gone to breakfast with and ended up drilling at my place at 9am after 13 hour night shifts
I'm in no position to brag, I'm not wealthy by any means and I'm 7-10 lbs overweight. But I took an average body and genetics, a career I have to constantly defend, and TRP and am living the life I always wanted in my mid-20s.
The BSN gives a nurse the ability to work anywhere in the world. One year experience and a cock will provide male nurses with unlimited career opportunities.
If you ever want to chat about trp or nursing, shoot me a PM.

"What do you do? "Nursing" "Haha really?" "Yeah the other day I saved someone's life"
That's gotta be among one of the coolest most badass things to do in a lifetime. To be the deciding factor between whether someone lives or dies. How is that beta?

Thanks guys - and thanks for the tips to those of you who are or are also studying to be nurses

Lift, get big ass biceps, and get a tat on them that says "Register Nurse." When asked what you do, pull up your sleeve, flex your guns and say "that's what I do."

You're overthinking it.
If someone has the poor taste to flip you shit, simply smile and say, "yeah, it's terrible being one of the few guys surrounded by hordes of educated, employable, and driven young ladies. TERRIBLE. You'd better steer clear, I'll take this one for the team."

No fucking shit.
I have absolutely no interest in nursing and have wondered if I fucked up getting an engineering degree i wanted to get after seeing how many girls go into nursing.

Hell yeah bro! I'm 27 and in nursing school.
Absolutely outstanding prospects for us males in the field. We can literally write our own paychecks and we stand a much, much better chance at getting into a management position.
I'm planning on going to a bridge program to nurse practitioner once I'm done with regular nursing school. I've toyed with the idea of going the CRNA route but I've heard it's extremely competitive to get into.
Fuck the haters. I love being called a murse. I'm also really enjoying school.
Just be warned, nursing school is no joke. Learn how to study in your basic classes. You will need to study. I'm struggling with that right now. Never had to study in the pre-req classes and always made at least a B.
EDIT: I actually love all the mad hatters out there.

Definitely overthinking. Nursing is a high pressure, honorable position. You help bring people back from the dead.
Plus you are surrounded by hot young things everywhere you look. What's not to like? Just be a MASCULINE nurse. Lift weights, do guy stuff and don't get sucked in to the girls night out stuff, although...

Do you, bro. Nothing wrong with helping people, enjoying your job, and making skrilla.

My sister is a nurse. She will work her normal day job, then make another $400 working a shift at a private hospital at night. Rolling in $$$$.

Im in an rn program too. Its like the post-highschool version of being in a cheerleading squad. If you still feel feminine, checkout advance rn degrees. Im particularly planning on going to crna path.

Honestly I never imagined being a male nurse had a stigma attached to it simply because I used to see so many of them taking care of business when I had to take my ex wife and our kid to the hospital.
The stigma is in your head.

One of my best mates is a nurse. You wouldn't believe how much pussy he's swimming in.
There is absolutely no fucking reason to feel feminine/beta.
