So after I took the red pill in regards to women and social dynamics, it wasn’t that far of a leap into seeking out the truth in other facets of life for me.
I discovered truths about politics and the media here in the US, also doing a deep dive into how it pertains to the UK; Along with religion. And the rabbit hole goes very deep. Or both saddens and sickens me, leaving me quite nihilistic but at the same time I am addicted to seeing alternative media expose their lies and reveal the truth.
My question is, what is the solution? Do I tune this out and stay purposefully uninformed? Fight and try to show others the truth? Keep my mouth shut and placate to others that are in the dark?
If I were to have a rational conversation with facts with those around me it’s likely I would be called a bigot, racist, sexist, etc etc when that couldn’t be further from the truth. Don’t really know where to go from here

Read as much as you can stomach. If it's stressing you out or making you cynical then cut back. Stay skeptical but don't go full blown conspiracy theorist. Never openly discuss with others about RP or any 'controversial' topics unless prompted, the person can be trusted, or the person offers up a similar viewpoint that isn't bait. Otherwise people will treat you like a leper in social situations.
AcRedLive 5y ago
I simply don’t understand how people can’t see the lies for what they are, and how ridiculous some of these beliefs are. How is it ethical for “journalists” to straight up lie to our faces? People I know actually take demonstrably false information and run with it. Teachers and everyone on tv brainwashing the public... even worse, kids. Alright I probably need to take a break

one of my best friends is a proud SJW. we were talking about trump's tax cut and he knows that ONLY the rich get a tax cut. i send him a wiki link with the actual act where you can see that everyone get that tax cut.
and he starts to tell me that actually he knew that, but it doesn't matter, mostly the rich will profit. which i don't deny, but that's not the point. he literally rewrite his memory so that it stay compatible with his narrative, without noticing it. he did say that ONLY the rich got tax cuts.

that's so strange to witness. what a complex creature is the man!
_Anarchon_ 5y ago
Yep, that's called cognitive dissonance. The way people deal with it can be unpredictable, and often times violent. People cannot stay in that state forever and have their sanity survive. They must lose one of the two competing beliefs or suffer some serious mental side effects.
AcRedLive 5y ago
Is he cool? Show him the democratic tax plan. You’ll barely have enough money to buy a bus ticket to get to the bread line
therandombiker1 5y ago
he won't mind. he thinks that Cuba is a successful nation, because housing, health care and education are free. obviously he didn't travelled much.
jefferson_ 5y ago
I vote Democrat, although my political beliefs are moderate. My family did not receive a tax cut with the GOP legislation. Don't believe everything you hear.
therandombiker1 5y ago
the only ones who did't receive a tax cut are those who earn under 9000/year.

AWorseManThanYou 5y ago
If tax policy sounds simple, then you’re reading a soundbite. Ask a tax lawyer, not a think tank. The cuts have been catastrophic for some (especially those at the edge of standard deduction and itemized deduction) and great for others, especially those earning over $500,000 a year.
jefferson_ 5y ago
Source? Do you realize how complex taxes are? Deductions, write offs, etc. all contribute to the final number every year.
therandombiker1 5y ago
i know it's complex and i'm clueless about the details. but i guess it's impossible to get a tax cut and end up paying more. here's a visual: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/here-are-the-winners-and-losers-of-the-final-version-of-the-republican-tax-bill-2017-12-18
jefferson_ 5y ago
So you're admitting you're clueless about the subject yet making sweeping assertions about said subject? Interesting.
Blissful ignorance works both ways folks.
therandombiker1 5y ago
i sent you a link, didn't I? with the tax cuts. that proves my claim.
jefferson_ 5y ago
That link describes the straight percentage of income taxed and does not talk about changes to any deductions such as SALT, standard, tuition, dependents, etc. Taxes aren't that simple.
Bleu_Cheese_Pursuits 5y ago
Don't try to change other people. Just be the best version of yourself. The US is heading towards authoritarianism and your best bet is to keep your head down and not stir the pot. If you have a $10,000,000 idea though, leave this place. The US is no longer a safe place for men to try to innovate and succeed.

The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum...― Noam Chomsky, The Common Good
Although this is outside the purview of TRP I'm with you u/AcRedLive.
A little background; I was raised in both a Western culture and a more traditional clan based culture due to my heritage. I was shown how a society grows literally from the ground up, how to build, maintain and most importantly govern it. Conversely; I've experienced what popular culture in the west would have us believe is the epitome of human endeavour.
The commonality; the human condition and our individual relationships/attitudes towards it.
The issue I find is that the west is consumer driven, productivity oriented, and economically focused. I live in the west(though travel home frequently) my partner is always on the upgrade hunt; new fridge; new car; new pram; whatever vacuous adornment will help fulfil her self image. I always tell her it's your money; buy whatever you like. But she'll always upbraid me because I don't divulge that I save my money, invest and all she sees is that I rarely spend. Consumerism is the new black.
Contrasting this is my community. We're slowly bringing it into this century. It's still very much family oriented, community driven and outcome focused. Which children are we putting through school/secondary/tertiary education makes up the majority of my work along with infrastructure, community development projects and overall society building. Of all my roles it's definitely the most time consuming and demanding. It also pays the least but gives me the most return in terms of life satisfaction.
Yet whenever I look at mainstream media in the west, whenever I look at the global human condition; I see through the veil and see that the government and big business care nothing for it. All that matters is keeping us plugged in.
My solution is to ALWAYS STAY INFORMED then use that information for my benefit. I've diversified all my intelligence sources and and continue to grow my networks. Eventually I might be able to affect more change but currently I'll bide continue to my time and work where I can; with what I have.
Whatever you decide remember having more information is always better than having less. What you do with it is entirely up to you.
Godspeed and good luck!

Do you want the shortcut? Skip finding the truth and get present. This hole is so deep it ruins lives. Countries fall people die and you cant do anything. Self improve and learn to be present. Become Kierkgaards knight of faith.

You are in the depression phase. It’s a phase that you go through when you swallow the red pill. This phase will pass.
mrpoopistan 5y ago
Fuck it. I'm bored. What are "the truths"?
I mean, using the word "truths" in the same sentence as "politics" is a chancy proposition on a good day.
I'll stop now and just take in the croaking of the gay frogs.

I just through some random one liners and quotes at you that seemed worth remembering for the situation us men are in now:
Think for yourself but behave like others.
Enjoy the decline.
Acceptance is freedom. Lean into the pain.
Suffer in silence.
Never explain. Never complain.
If there's always someone better, nobody wins.
Per aspera ad astra.
Aside from that work on your body & mind. Lift & read. And don't try to take life too seriously.

Sounds like you had a psychedelic experience. They can make you realise you've been an enslaved sheep your whole life thinking thoughts you need to be thinking, doing the things you ought to be doing etc. Culture is not your friend - Terence McKenna

political thought rarely helps me - i've been down all those roads and back. just read evola and lift.

it's good to know i'm not the only one who walked that path. as someone said: i got redpilled and almost instantly became a trump supporter"
it's like you start to see that the mainstream narrative have huge holes in it and you're not willing to put up with the bs anymore.
don't know what to do. i'm experimenting with telling the truth, but i'm always instantly labeled. then i try to keep it to myself, but i can't stand hearing all that nonsense without reacting. i didn't find yet a middle path.
Project_Zero_Betas 5y ago
Thank God there was no collusion.
_Anarchon_ 5y ago
Getting truly red-pilled in all facets of life can be daunting. I also did it for religion and politics, just as you. It's not for everyone. You go through a lot of cog dis that can be incredibly painful. In fact, some peoples' sanity doesn't survive the trip. For those of us that do, know that it can also be incredibly empowering. You understand how the world works much better than the majority of the population, and you can use that to your advantage.

One complication is that it can also be a challenge socially. You're going to run across a lot of people you now find it more difficult to respect. I try to remember that I used to be just like them, and have some understanding. I also try to aid those capable of making the journey.
iLLprincipLeS 5y ago
Grab them by the pussy. It's not your place or goal to save a dying world, focus on your self improvement.
Obviously. Remember LAW 38: think as you like but behave like others.
