I have a best friend whom we look a lot alike. We often get asked if we're brothers. I'll say with humility that we often get complemented on our looks, together and independently. So you would think that two guys who are equally decent looking would get laid at about the same level, right? Nope. Here's an example of how each of us would talk to a woman:
Girl: "I'm a Pisces"
Me: "Meh, I never believed in that zodiac stuff, wanna go get some pizza?"
Now compare my friend.....
Girl: "I'm a Pisces"
Him: "Ooooo, Pisces is the sign of PASSION.. I'm a Capricorn myself... wanna go get some pizza?"
See the difference? Even before I heard of TRP I innately felt that women were into stupid shit, and that I had to lower myself ("dumbing down") in order to talk with them. My friend, on the other hand (who totally pedestalized pussy) had no problem talking at their level and got laid a lot more than I did.
But my question is.... is this really considered "game" or just "dumbing myself down to a woman's level"?

The problem here is that you give the conversation nowhere to go.
Same problem as before. Note that whether you agree or disagree has no bearing on anything. Also note that you could say
and that that is a way better answer, because it creates an emotional response. It may cause her to bolt, but that will come down to whether she thinks you're attractive enough or not, and it's good to find this stuff out right away. That's why polarization is good.
Your friend's answer is good. You can't really tell if he's being serious or not, so she can play it either way.
This is good because it opens the door for you to make remarks about her that she can react to. Gets her justifying herself to you instead of the other way around. Once again note that agreeing or disagreeing doesn't matter, but rather that the key is keeping the conversation moving in the direction that you want.
This is what an autist does in an attempt at being agreeable.

The problem with posting convos is that people may hear them in their own voice in different ways. I did my "never believed in that stuff" response in a polite tone, but I guess it could come across as condescending.
That's a good reply you posted. To me that's more of what "game" probably should be... playing it cool. My friend on the other hand would go from talking to us buddies in one way, and then totally switching to a different personality when it came to girls... overly complimentary/needy and simple minded. The sort of tone that would be thoroughly annoying if he were speaking to guys that way.

Dumbing yourself down? FFS are all the things you are not into 'dumb' or just stuff typically considered spiritual?
I mean I am not into it but there is a high level of detail and creative effort along with a beautiful level of structure to most spiritually based belief systems.
Adding them to your knowledge base can add to your perception of reality and make it more magical and wonderous.
It's all a bunch of mystic mumbo jumbo but I just think of it as conceptual mental art. Like old school augmented reality.
Just my take. I know it's silly and I had similar issues with crystals in the past.
