I have a stutter that sometimes stops me from approaching and/or escalating with girls. Normally I would have a DGAF mentality and it works but the anxiety that comes in the way of escalating.
I have had therapy for it and it has helped me control it to a minimum but talk to me for awhile and you’ll start to see it. Sometimes i even used my stutter to my advantage when I get shit tested. And I’m grateful that I have a stutter for that specific reason but I’d rather learn to speak normally.
Also started to talk quieter and less due to it.
Any tips for learning how to speak clear and loud?
Also how to overcome anxiety?

It’s hard to give advice if you’ve never experienced it. But I would say just keep doing it to you are longer nervous or give a fuck. Be outcome independent and you’ll be golden.

I occasionally have one. Best advice is slow tf down, breathe and relax. The more tense you are, the more scared you will be to stutter then you will stutter and the cycle starts. Idk you notice but you rarely stutter when you're with close friends and if you do then you're calm about it. Abundance is key, who gives one about some twat you'll probably never see again.

Listen to Joe Rogan Experience episode #1035 with Paul Stamets. The relevant story starts at 39:28.
I don’t know if that’s what you need to do, but it’s at least worth looking into.
Good luck bro.

So he should take a shit load of mushrooms, hug a tree in the middle of a lightning storm, and repeat "Stop stuttering now" hundreds of times? Got it.

Haha maybe not exactly. But if I had a stutter I’d look into psychedelics. That was my only point. There’s enough anecdotal evidence out there to support its efficacy:

I’d love to see a formal scientific study on it if they ever moved psilocybin to a schedule 2 drug.

Talk to yourself like that fucker from Taxi Driver.

Its all in your head. You just have to keep trying til it works. For me personally I just drink to reduce anxiety a lot of the time. I don't get loaded, but a beer or 2 really calms me down and takes away all my anxiety by like 95%.

You can be successful (career wise) with a stammer. Look at Elon Musk. Terrible speaker. Self-made billionaire.
It'll probably be easier running social network game than approach game, until your stutter clears up at least.

Slow. Down. Seriously.
I had this problem and I still do. It was usually when I try to talk to fast.

I have this problem too. Not even sure why I do this, because I really don't have a problem approaching people. I'm starting to notice how quiet my voice is.
I think it's just bad habit that my asshole parents instilled. Because every time I spoke with any confidence in my voice, they would tell me I was speaking too loud. What's your situation though, OP? How was your childhood and your relationship to your parents? Get back at me.

To be honest, I really don’t remember much. It seems that I got it when I moved schools, but when I got in touch with some of my old friends, they said they always noticed a stutter in my speech.
I went from being social and had great friends to be the quiet kid in class. Really damaged my social skills, and the stutter was a side effect of that. Although I gained back my social skills, my speaking skills deteriorated quite a lot.
My relationship with my mother was great but not so much with my father since they both divorced when I was too young to remember so I never grew up with a father figure. All I remember from my childhood was me doing everything myself so I grew up being really independent and resourceful due to my mother travelling.
Also, my brother has a stutter so it could be genetic?
Edit: forgot to add a small detail

Speak slower.
Also talk as if you're about to start singing but don't actually do it. Heard this as a theory and tell me how it works out for you.

I experience it when I have overwhelming anxiety.
To overcome anxiety you need to have options or know that you can make options easily. It is when you know that regardless of the outcome you will be fine.
Maybe you are lacking something that subconsciously lets you know that you can't make options?
Do you lift, read, do you have your mission?
