You're not eating enough or not pushing enough. Period.
You over your tdee? What are your macros? What program you following?

Ive gain about 10 pounds of weight these past few months. But after that, i cant seem to put up any weight anymore no matter how hard i try. Ive done a bit of research and its called a plateu.

Dude fuck that. Plateau is not a real thing for beginners. You’re way way way way way way to early for a plateau. I’ve been lifting consistently for almost 3 years and I haven’t had plateau issues yet. I second what this fella said, either not pushing enough or eating enough. Probably a combination of both.

You should be hating your life. You aren't even trying.

Track your calories and macros, a lot of people will say “oh but I’m eating a lot!” And when they track the calories they’re always at or below maintenance calories. If you want to build mass you have to be in a caloric surplus.

If you’re young you might’ve gotten leaner and put on muscle mass. But 8 months, I doubt it honestly. How different do you look? Go to a calorie calculator website and add 500 calories to your maintain, that’s about how much you need to make decent gains. Get your macros in check too.

Food, dude. It's going to be your intake. It's not hard to find tdee calculators on line.
Buy some mass Gainer to supplement. Get one high in cals and protein. Go big, to see for yourself once you put more in, your body has shit to work with.

My workouts are, Push - pull - legs routine every other day. With high intensity and volumes. I always do 4 sets of 12-15. Anyways. Thanks yall!
BusterVadge 7y ago
Are you not doing any strength routines? like 3x3 or 5x3 or 5/3/1? 4 sets of 12-15 are fine for hypertrophy but it's not that simple, you need to build strength too if you want to gain.

i was doing push pull every other day too with little progress. you have to go everyday. 6 times a week. ppl, pol, and rest day. its the only way

eat even more

If you're not feeling dead after your workouts during a bulk you're not pushing yourself enough.
Also.... eat more. I would eat a dozen eggs a day on top of what you're eating now. Lots of protein and will add an easy 1000 calories/day. Lots of people do GOMAD too but there's too many hormones in milk (estrogen). So I wouldn't go that route if it were me. GOMAD adds an easy 3000 calories a day though.

I see. GOMAD stands for?
BusterVadge 7y ago
Gallon of milk a day.

You lost me at part where you eat atleast a dozen eggs a day and mentioned some people drink GOMAD. I for sure couldnt afford those as im still a student lol, anyways. Isnt that a bit excessive?
HurricaneHugues 7y ago
Off course its excessive. So is working out more than once a week.
Throwaway-242424 7y ago
Gaining large quantities of muscle mass is excessive by normie standards. Do you want to bulk or not? Milk is dirt cheap.
